Is this likely to run on a 1.5Ghz "Dothan" celeron M laptop? Apparently its equiv to a 3.0ghz.0

So do I need anything else on my lappy to get this to work or is it plug n play?0

I bought one of these on ebay a fortnight ago for £38.49p, how gutted am i at this price!!!
I have used this in my caravan in the middle of a field connected to my laptop and it worked a treat but if you try to do anything else on the laptop then it pixelates and interrupts the signal. This may be down to my laptop though.
All in all it saved £300 plus as I didnt have to buy a flat screen tv with a built in dvd.
You do have to load software into the pc (comes with it) but its straightforward to scan for available channels. Overall I'm still chuffed but £18.49 out of pocket!!!!0 -

I've got a 1.5Ghz Dothan Cel-M and I'd expect it to handle it well if you have enough memory (Not tried it though, will buy one of these when ive got some money)
Dunno about the 3Ghz claim though0 -
Has anybody got experience of running this on usb 1.0 ports?I am a cider drinker - like my father before me.0

Is this thing is 'clever' enough to turn the PC / Laptop on and off?
I've got a PCI one for my PC that does this, but will be changing to a laptop soon, and I've got used to the convenience of not having to get up!
If it doesn't, does anyone know of one that can do?0 -
