    Hi MBE,

    Fondant icing can be a pain, it needs to be kept cool and dusted with a truckload of icing sugar (as you would do with flour when rolling out pastry). I agree about the foul taste. The only one I've found that isn't absolutely vile is Regalice by Dr Oetker

    Just a note for if you ever attempt fondant icing again :)

    Agreed - I got through loads of icing sugar! I've just eaten one of the undecorated spares, which was lovely. :D
