Alan M, I will take it that I am now in my consultation period for redundant posting, but I will take pleasure in posting the facts later as it will prove just how arrogant and cynical you are.

Tom_Jones, i do not have to answer any of your questions and I reiterate I have commited no crime but perhaps you have good reason to assume the worst in people!

Leif, it's a relief that you can understand the concept of bad practice and fraud. As I said before I will post the details a little later and perhaps I was premature in sharing my victory here but I am quite proud of what I have done as taking someone to court is not an easy task.

My claim was that the builder stated he would provide the kitchen at "trade price". He said he would charge separately for the labour which he did and that was where he would make his money. I challenged this and the judge agreed he did not pass on the full discount to me - he actually submitted documents from Howden's which stated the same kitchen to me directly would have cost 16k, but given they dont deal with the relevant public it proved further that the whole process was dishonest and as I was a direct client of the builder Howden's had no place in being involved in my civil claim.

I need to provide the transcript elsewhere before posting here and I will do once I know what is the next step in this case.

Sorry for posting so prematurely, I had wanted to share my victory but it is clear that many do not think a consumer should be allowed to challenge a supplier! Shame on those who do not see this as fraud or deception and for those who call me a criminal, well that judgement reflects entirely on you.

It is quite shocking how greed brings out the worst in people but it is actually quite shocking that so many on hear like to laugh at what I have done. Sign of the times I guess....

What prevented you writing this in the first place?

All your other postings make no sense.

You seem to forget that you are on an internet forum and unless you write a plainly as possible you won't be understood.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

olly300 thanks for pointing out being a non English national that I make no sense and am scarely able to write in concise English!

I have to say I have forgotten I am on an internet forum. I had no idea there were people like you criticising people's use of English especially when I have made yo aware that I am not a UK Citizen.

I must confess this experience has been quite horrible, but it is difficult to avoid arrogant people on the internet!

I would like to disagree with the above. I find Jillytb's posts quite easy to follow and understand. I fail to understand why many people here keep asking her to explain what to me was obvious from the outset, which was confirmed by her most recent post.

Her writing style is perhaps more emotional than clinical, but it is fine, and some like me are perhaps too cold and concise.

Well you've had 3 days to post the 'facts' of your victory, if indeed you did win, and you still haven't said how you got the information regarding what the fitter paid Howdens, so by you not answering leads me to the conclusion you obtained it by illegal means.

Ohhhh how I wish you were going to sue me, any decent solicitor would destroy you, and if you did breach the DPA then I would make sure you were punished to the full extent of the law.

You get a 16k kitchen for 6k and your still not happy.

Tom_Jones I really do not understand your issues but it is clear you have many. You sound like a very dissatisfied person but maybe one day you will find out what makes you so bitter and perhaps be able to post in a civilized and unpatronising manner. Don't worry I dont take it personally, I have encountered men who dislike my determination and ability to achieve before.
  • I'm actually really amazed that people think its fine for people to make a profit by lying and being liars if it's legal. There are obviously more people than I expected who don't really care about morality other than what people can get away with.

I too am shocked at this attitude and also the way in which some people seem to have disdain for my taking a builder to court and worse for actually winning!

Tom_Jones would like me to sue him, how bonkers is that, so he could get a solicitor to "destroy me".
I have noted he is in fact in the construction industry himself so that is perhaps why his sympathy lies with the builder who conned me out of my hard earned cash!
His last posting to me speaks volumes!

Why are you finding it so difficult to comprehend that most posters (including myself) are very interested in details of the four points that you sued the builder on.

We are actually very interested in the outcome of this case and would like to read the judges summary (which will have been made on the day of the case) and award for the win.

Personally I couldn't care less what you feel about other peoples interest in this case or if you feel you've been defrauded. What I'm interested in is the cold hard facts and the legal ruling on the four points that you sued the builder.

I am also extremely interested to understand where anything criminal has taken place and you feel you have a further case against the builder with the CPS.

For one moment forget any emotion you "feel" about this case and actually post some of the hard information for those of us that have a genuine interest in the ruling and award.

A copy of the summary and award would be wonderful, thank you very much, pretty please with sugar on top.

I've been following this thread too. I can't understand why the OP hasn't been able to post the information required.

I don't think it's anything to do with English not being her first language.
