    Hi Pammy

Usually with Petermb he would send you a SAR form to fill in the details of your lender and ask you for 10.00 made out to the Lender to get all the details back.

If you have not done this it sounds as though Petermb was just looking at your paperwork to see if it was worth progressing.

  • quick quiry i hope you could give me a little advice.
I have been turned over with this loancheck situation, my offer is 4750 from paragon ive decided after over the last 2 1/2 years to settle this, believe it or not my solicitor have waived there fees, but the massive one is the £2,385 inc Vat on the first stage audit report, which i feel is alot of money concidering Loancheck didnt quote me on any of this when signed up
    Does this sound right

So is he waivering the £2385 also or have you got to pay this according to your solicitor?
  • as far as i know he has to pay the 2385 to Loancheck, the solicitors fee issue is separate to this if he didnt waiver his costs i would be out of pocket

Why are you paying the audit report Stringman. That was not in the agreement.

    Have a read of this

Cartel customers face £30k court fees

Customers of claims company Cartel Client Review could find themselves further in debt to the tune of £30,000 after it has emerged its legal firm botched their court cases.

    pixel.gif
The firm working almost exclusively on Cartel's 'debt-free' cases, Consumer Credit Litigation Solicitors, was shut down by the Solicitors Regulation Authority last week due to concerns over 'suspected dishonesty'. It has now emerged CCLS took four cases to a Manchester High Court before Christmas as part of 10 test cases chosen by a Judge Waksman to decide the circumstances in which debts could be deemed 'unenforceable'.

So has he actually won your case for you then or was this a settlement for just PPI? Also why would he ask you to pay the Loancheck fee (if that is what you are saying here????) as this was already paid to them wasn't it in the beginning when he accepted your case (according to posts of how this actually worked on here). If he is asking you to pay the Loancheck fee and you were not made aware of it in the contract you signed then surely you have a case against the solicitor???? I am sure I read on here that Loancheck worked where there was never any financial risk to the client. Don't know if anyone can confirm this??? What firm of solicitors were you dealing with?
