loancheck/solicitors claiming ppi

I was originally with loancheck who passed my file to watsons, then heard nothing. Watsons sent all the file back to loancheck.
I've decided after so long 2007 I might as well sign up with Sidney LAw.

Just read an article on the BBC website about Schools being overcharged in kit scam.

The radio programme is on Radio 5 tonight at 9pm.


It mentions a company called the Leasing Advisory Service - they are run by ex-Loancheck linked people!!


Looks like their service is the new Loancheck for businesses - it's called Leasecheck (how original).

I was ripped off by this man - someone told me they had reported him to the Serious Fraud Office.

I saw a job advertised with them. They the bbc radio podcasts up on their website.
Are they known scammers?

Not for long though it seems as MMG Audit Services Ltd was dissolved on September 2013.

I like many others was caught up in the whole Loancheck/Watsons Solicitors fiasco. I have just been sorting out some old files and came across a copy of a letter from Andrew Watson to the Building Society I had my mortgage with from back in 2008.

Now having come across this thread I am curious to see whatever happened to my file at Watsons. I am aware that Loancheck went bust and that Mr Watson was having difficulties with the SRA (cannot post link as I have made less than 10 posts so posting with links is disabled).

The letter from Mr Watson was unresolved (to the best of knowledge) because I never heard from him again and like many others tried unsuccessfully to contact him.

Is the whole concept of what Loancheck and Watsons were trying to do "dead in the water" or was it a case of their failure to conclude cases etc and their overall mismanagement the problem at the time?

If the service itself is still viable, is there anyone else out there to replace Loancheck/Watsons and provide the service (albeit hopefully managed in a better way)?

Having had a mortgage audit carried out, several issues arose including the possibility of MPPI miss-selling, calculation errors amongst others.

Does anyone know if Watsons Solicitors are still in business If so, is it worth contacting them to request my files. If they are not in a business, what happens to those files?
