loancheck/solicitors claiming ppi

For all people feeling misled by Loancheck why don't you put a complaint into their office for misleading advice. They are still on companies house as active. I know that most probably went through their "other" companies but surely they should address these complaints. After all its the same people running it isn't it. I cannot believe that no-one has TBH. They are authorised too by MOJ.0

I have been contacted by post by Blackknight who have passed three cases onto Stokes@co (Toni STOKES), who was intially working with Andrew Watson on the PPI cases. These cases were with Watsons previously, I signed up No win no fee condional charge in 2008. He did not contact me on a regular basis nor give me regular updates.
She informed me that Andrew Watson could not cope with his workload and clients had complained to Law society and he had his cases taken off him.
She would like to take on my cases, says that he has breached his contract and has no right to claim if I win or any right to bill me for any work.
I am unsure of where to go now. These cases have been going since 2008, wished I had never bothered.
Do I go it alone to Financial Ombudsman or am I too LATE?

So Black Knight have passed your case over??? IF you went with the new solicitor then are you then having to pay costs if you win or lose. I think you need to find this out if you want them to take the case over and also have they given you a timescale and what are your chances of success too in writing.I have been contacted by post by Blackknight who have passed three cases onto Stokes@co (Toni STOKES), who was intially working with Andrew Watson on the PPI cases. Yes, they have. Really don't know what to do for the best.
Sick to the back teeth of loancheck, watsons and blackknight.
Seems blacknight have taken files from Watsons and sent them on to other solicitors.
The idea is I sign yet another conditional no win no fee and pay a success fee on top I think.
Havent signed anything yet and havent been given any timescales.
Really as you would say "confused.com!!"0 -

Hi Confused.com:o They should not pass your case on to Black Night, unless you have agreed for that to happen. You should not pass your case directly to Black Night. Are they Registered under data protection or MOJ to do this.
Please made sure that if Watson have passed you anywhere that Watsons are not going to charge you for work they have supposedly done. Please get that in writing.
Let us know how you get on here.:mad:0 -
Thanks all for your quick replies.
You are right, all my details are travelling around in the hands of people who we are suppost to trust "Solicitors".
I don't get this are they all in it together? or am I being paranoid?
Loancheck, Watsons, Stokes, Blackknight. Seem to be feeding from each other.
If I decline to be passed onto another solicitor, would I be able to approach Obudsman?0 -
There is something going on me thinks... I don't know what to say TBH. I hope someone can help as I admit now I am lost with it. Its so confusing???0

You may be able to approach the Ombudsman BUT you need to be 100% that by pulling away you are not going to be lumbered with a bill. I would get that in writing too. Thanks all for your quick replies.

Black Knight are registered with Data Protection BUT its somewhere in this thread that they do not need to be registered with MOJ. Don't know how true this is though?Hi Confused.com:o They should not pass your case on to Black Night, unless you have agreed for that to happen.
