No, I haven't......but I will.
Thanks.
Where would I get these?
I got them from a garden centre with the bark chips/ mushroom compost, no doubt you can order online these days but I was still innocent to the [STRIKE]wonders[/STRIKE] dangers of internet shopping ten years ago!
Sorry to hijack the thread OP, so so so pleased to hear there is progress.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0 -
Glad Smudgie's on the mend tiannaleigh. Both Orbit (rip) & Daisy are house cats but they have full run of the house.Daisy spends most of her time asleep on the bed &,loves to sit on the windowsill.Lol,I put the small table from one of those table nest's next to the bookcase to help Orbit get up & now Daisy uses it too.I made the mistake of moving it &,one morning she sat there looking at the space until I put it back!!0

Came across this....'caught red handed' tool. Shame it's so bulky but it's probably very light.

I hope this creepy geezer doesn't poison any kids while he's hurting cats. ~Something very wrong with his head I'd say..in my experience people that will hurt a dumb animal don't care much about anything else either.
I'd be all over him for this if he poisoned my cats, and I'd want the vet fees back too.
It would be such a shame if something nasty happened to him one day wouldn't it though, since no-one can prove he did anything or can't be bothered to...I'd loctite the !!!!!! in his house, see if anyone can prove how that happened
I hope your furry buddy makes a full recovery.

Just read through your thread ... I am so glad that Smudgy seems to be pulling through and fingers crossed, is over the worst. It is unbelieveable that people could do something like that to harm an animal. They obviously do not have pets themselves. I hope that if it was this man, he is scared by any investigations and doesnot ever do it again.
I have an almost full 2kg bag of Hills KD prescription diet. Our elderly cat was put onto it but unfortunately she died after only 2 days on it. We have another cat but she doesnt need it.
If I lived closer (we are in kent), I would gladly give it to you free of charge as it is useless to us. Unfortunately though, with postage (no idea how much it would cost but it is quite heavy) it would probably cost as much to post as food you can buy on the internet. Otherwise Iwill probably be giving it to a cat charity (not sure if they accept/want an open bag of diet food - I rang the vets and they said they couldnt pass it on to anyone else).
Anyway, just wanted to pass on support for you and your beautiful moggy.

Thank you Aliasojo, I will definitely try and take it this week in that case, it will be nice to think someone benefits from it - we got our other cat from a local sanctuary so will try there (will try not to see any cats though as I know I will be tempted!!!).0 -
How's my little four legged mate doing? I'm so glad that things are looking better

Hi, still doing fine, she is so bored though,I cant wait to make my garden more secure so she cant get out,she is spending all day trying to escape through open doors, windows etc,she had always been such a pleasant cat and never bit me or my daughter, but on halloween she managed to dart out the door ,it took me around 40mins trying to catch her,a neighbour(a nice one) helped me corner her when she went under a parked car,but as I reached under the car to get hold of her she started really struggling ,for the first time ever she bit me and drew blood, she was also making that horrible scream you hear cats make when they are fighting or what ever it is they do, lol, but I think she is just so frustrated, she used to love going outside hunting, so im going to get her a harness for now,but will be looking at making a fence like one mentioned earlier in this thread,as she must be so unhappy being kept in and she thinks im just being cruel.
I may be moaning about her behaviour but im over the moon to see her looking so healthy, my vet keeps telling me not to build my hopes up,but to see her so full of life, I am sure with the right care she is not going to die,she has been of the drip now 7days,the vet at first gave her 2days to live, then after 2days she said her kidneys will gradually fail now,but she looks stronger every day,I cant beleive my luck, I was so sure we had lost her.0
