I switched through Quidco last night, duel fuel, has tracked as £30 not as £110. Have emailed them to find out actual amount of cashback. Be interested to know what others are tracking as?

i've had reply from quidco - they've said that its quite common to track at wrong amount. fingers crossed i get the correct amount.......will defo keep an eye!

I know we have had this 'conversation' before but I do think it pertinent to make the point again - if you are planning to switch regularly therefore you will need to sign up for the tariff BLF highlighted as it has no exit fee. Only problem being this tariff is so expensive as to make the financial benefits of switching almost non-existent. In my Yorkshire region and on average consumption that tariff is £240 per annum more expensive than the cheapest tariff! £20 a month on average. Taking into account we are entering the time of year when we use the most energy and that £20 a month figure will be inflated to maybe £30-£35 per month. It will be 3 months minimum before you manage to switch away so it's entirely possible that you will see no actual profit from this (on the surface) extraordinary £110 cashback figure.
Do your sums before going for this would be my advice (the Sunday closing date is designed to panic you IMO).

1carminestocky is absolutely spot on with this and similarly, in the Northern Region, the tariff that's free from switching penalties is £240 pa more expensive than the Online Energy Saver 7 tariff, which has exit penalties.
The other problem with the Online Energy Saver 7 tariff is that it is a VARIABLE tariff that you are locked in to until the end Nov 2010.
Previous locked in tariffs have been fixed or capped but Saver 7 is neither of these.
Beware fixed term variable tariffs that carry exit penalties..

I have applied to switch again once the current switch has reached Cashback Site validated/confirmed. Others would prefer quite correctly to wait for their Cashback to be actually paid before they apply to switch again.

Quidco have added this overnight re the SP cashback :

For Dual Fuel- Cashback will track in at £60.00 and will update to £110.00 when validated.

For Single Fuel- Cashback will track in at £30.00 and will update to £55.00 when validated.

    So that's OK then!
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Its also worth pointing out to add balance that in South West Region the Online Energy Tariff with no exit penalties is extremely competitive ( based on my usage)

Agreed, and I hope you are aware I have massive respect for your switching expertise, BLF, plus unlike one poster don't 'favour' shall we say one cashback site. But i think it should also be pointed out you have very unusual consumption in as much as you have a gas supply but simply don't use any? Not a criticism, BTW, I'm glad you can 'sock it' to these greedy energy companies.

It's just that serial switching for cashback, for the majority, is more fraught with danger than it used to be.

£110 seems to be back on Quidco, any idea when it expires?
