I could help with that too if it wern't for people arguing about everything. I really don't understand the tone people take on forums, the crash law one epitomises it. It was shown on there how very little we know about each other and the qualities we can bring to the forum. I mentioned earlier, I'm a well qualified driver who isn't immune to the real world and enjoys speed as much as anyone else (if not more!). I've also made no bones about the fact that i'm a lawyer too. Surely it'd be better to just have a civilised discussion, i'm fairly sure I could bring alot to it if it wern't for the people who just insist on being right and arguing.

Come on Seb get down off that one, much as I hate racism interfering with serious stuff if you wish to bring other peoples views on other posts into play then so be it. How about keeping this topic to just that tho'. this topic. ?.

Seb, unmentioned before, but as you keep quoting this stuff, I too did my advanced drivers thing, but over over 30 years ago, I read and still have the police roadcraft thing, dated about 1970, if I recall. It does not however make me a good driver, it makes me aware of the difference between good and bad driving. What I do on the road is entirely dependant on my mentallity and yours is dependant on yours ad etc
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Playing the race card because I called you an old frog? Can you get any more ridiculous? Ugh, I'm bowing out of this one, the argument's not fun any more.

And even they can't agree Seb, well not on all aspects. Smoothness with full control and correct speed for prevailing conditions sums it up for me, ;)

Not saying everyone agrees Bri, not much point in a forum if they did is there! ;)

I'm pointing out that many advanced drivers (except pendulum of course, if he's taken the course yet!) will openly discuss that they can spot certain advanced techniques of fellow ads. A main part of this forum, before pendulum got a little silly was regarding his not believing me that it is possible.

I'm glad you agree you know what to look for too..... however basic principles smoothness, control and speed are. I tend to look for the application of the principle parts of the system and drivers who are not affraid to do something different or against what all of the other drivers are doing in the correct place. Also well excecuted gear changes in the correct position. You can often see the car lurch when the revs aren't mached by other drivers.
