since my mum had a mastectomy she is very careful what she uses, will only use Dove stuff, each time we ask what she wants for a prezzie she says just get me some Dove body wash, last year I made her a hamper with Dove stuff, but wanted to do something different this year, sooooooo

Just made my first towel cake for my sisters 40th birthday after being inspired by all your amazing cakes on here. I couldn't get it to look like a 'cake' so it has ended up as a 'towel hat'. Am quite pleased with result for my first attempt though.

Hopefully this link will take you to a picture of it ... http://i849.photobucket.com/albums/ab56/BrownGirl2010/Image009.jpg
  • Hiya,

I hope you all had a good xmas & New year,
Here is a pic of my first 3 tier towel cake that i made for a friends wedding just b4 xmas. Its got a cream M&S towel bale a bottle of 1/2 price M&S Champaigne, and a tiny bottle of champaigne bubbles on top!
They know i make nappy cakes so when the first saw it they thought i was being very presumptious (sp) LOL, they still havent opened it so dont know about the bubbly inside!!

    Jo

P.s. i have been keeping up with this thread and i'm very impressed with all the cakes and other creations!
