Morning Irishgirl62
Thanks for asking.
It was a complete wash out - we stood outside freezing for 5 hours and it never stopped raining. I sold 4 x coaster calendars, 4 x wine glass socks, 1 x spiderman cracker socks, and 1 towel cake - all in all £18.50 worth.
The stall cost me £35 and by the time we kept going to buy some hot Vimto and coffee to keep us going, it was a disaster, but I guess it was for a good cause - lol

Sally thats such a shame your stuff was lovely looked musch nicer in real life than in the pictures. Would agree with it being a washout it never let up raining so perhaps that didnt help. Better luck with the next one. Do you ever do soups or reindeer food? If you do pm me please. x0 -
All the cakes look fantastic, well done
I want to try and make one myself. Where is the best place to get the wrapping from?In order to be irreplaceable, one must always be different.0 -
Wow have just been looking over this whole thread and am going to have to have a go for Christmas. You all have so many good ideas and are so creative! Mother in law can only have Simple toiletries so am going to do her a green and white towel cake and get everything from boots so I can spend the points on me afterwards! Then aim to do one for the kids and dh if I can get them out of the house long enough! Have already got stuff ready for a simple nappy cake for a friend who's just had her first baby - busy busy busy!Mortgage £119,533 going down slowly

Thanks Orthalouise
It was good to meet you in person!
I'm sorry I'm not one of the ladies who make the reindeer food or the soup but if you visit the thread for Making Cards, I think you'll find most of them make it. Rainmac and Rusty Flange are two that spring to mind.
Hope this helps,
Sal

Plus 2 baby quilts 3 fleece blankets 3 pairs of curtains that retail from 10 to 25 pounds and loads more.Cross Stitch Challenge Member Number 20
