but its just the thought of seeing him happy with someone else and wondering if shes the one who will turn him into the man I want him to be :o

I doubt anyone would be able to change him.

I don't know if it'd work for you but when I used to first see my ex with his gf I just used to think of all his bad points and think that his gf wasn't very lucky. I couldn't wait for them to split up and for him to cheat on her coz I knew that was what he was like. When they did eventually split up I wasn't even bothered anymore and wasn't really fussed if they split up or not. They're back together now with a child and another on the way and getting married next year and I can honestly say I'm happy for them. I'm not saying you'll feel like that but just want you to know you can get over someone. It did take me years though and everything you say how you feel I totally understand coz I've been there. Thing's will definitely get better, it just takes time.

And please don't think you're not normal because of the way you're acting... you're totally normal and totally F Fabulous :A

    Thanks Bowski.

I have gotten over a boyfriend before him who was my "first love" so I know I can do it , and your probably right he won't change because he said to me at one point if we did get back together things would be better but then he didn't want to get back together which to me means he can't be bothered with effort. Just hate that even in his last email he told me he loved me

Decided I might have to cull a few more of his family off my facebook, even seeing his 31yr old male cousin becoming single via that today makes me feel weird cos I think oh well they will be all out on the pull together, his brother became single a couple a weeks ago too so its like the three muskateers and even these silly things get to me

I didn't want to just delete them all and seem like a cow though, but after 5 months I guess they won't think that and might not even notice I have deleted them so his cousins are about to be deleted....:o

    Not feeling normal again

Only real plan is to start saving and try and have some fun! I am not in frame of mind to make big plans, just can't wait until I can start putting cash aside once old house is all paid for!

My mother is still here! 3 weeks now!!! She expects me to spend all my time with her so social life is bit rubbish right now, hoping to see some normal people this week though, apparantly she is going home this week though won't tell me a day :o

    Hi Dawn

I'm not in the mood for big plans at the moment either - have pretty much put dieting and debt busting on hold until the New Year, hopefully in a better frame of mind :o

I think you should just try to chill out over Christmas, which I know will be hard for you - then come out fighting in 2010!

2010 will be our year :D

TBH I am agreeing with what one of my friends said, 2011 is more likely to be a better year as 2010 will be picking up the pieces from 2009!

But it can't get worse, well I bloody well hope not, no emails still either, this is the longest ex has gone without contacting me in 5 months believe it or not

12 days! And we broke up that long ago. No way will I be emailing him though. Just wanna move on so much now, I have calmed down a lot over the things that annoyed me but I am so over dealing with the !!!!!

Yeah its true it takes a good few months to get over splits and be ready to move on. I am now at the 13 month mark and only now feel like I need to get back in control and start moving on in a number of ways.
