I have used stardrops to clean the leather sofa, (on the other hand I don't have fluff stuck to it)
If nothing seems to work, you could call the store where you bought the sofa.
.............As a last resort perhaps a new throw????
  • yeah perhaps a new sofa even!! i cant help but laugh...i was so pleased at the bargain price i got the throw at and the fact it was so comfy...now an 8 pound throw will prob cost me $$$$ to get it unstuck from my very expensive sofa:rotfl:

I seem to recommend this product a lot, but how about sticky stuff remover from lakeland. It gets the residue from price labels off easily, and it is quite gentle.
  • Try a wee tin of lighter pertrol (the one you would fill a zippo lighter with) on a hidden bit. It moves anything sticky I have tried it on.

    Hi

I have a cream leather sofe which is looking rather grey at the moment. I saw on Kim and Aggie that they were cleaning a sofa but didn't catch what they were using?

    Any ideas??

    Thanks

  • Hi

I have got a cream leather sofa and my friend recommended johnsons baby wipes, they are absolutely brilliant, it comes up like new every time i give it a good clean, good luck.
  • Saddle Soap and a sponge then towel it dry also works very well for me.

Just out of interest to other readers I have recently changed my settee for a another one (Ekornes) and it specifically says NOT to use microfibre clothes to clean as they are just too good at removing the natural oils from leather.
