Pen Pen - hugs for the guide slating starting again - please don't run away - they're not worth it...

I've walked away - those people remind me of the parents at school and the youth groups I've been involved with - those who complain the loudest are always at the back of the queue when assistance is required  Those who complain loudest give the least back

    Since last post I've:

    been to church
been to lakeland (new microwave pan with a freebie pot!)
    had lunch out with DH
done shopping (sorted for week now) & put away
prepped roast and veg & put oven on

Still need to finish the bathroom (when DH has trimmed his beard!) and the bedroom (not changing the bed though) and put the WM on at least twice...I've lost motivation though - am tired!!

greenbee - those boots look very lovely. I really want some long boots as I have none at the moment... which water bottles did you get? I got the 800ml one on offer with the jacket, plus a ss cap. I've had a litre one but think this will be ok.

pen-pen - well done you. I haven't read the thread as I don't want to give it the time of day, but I can imagine...you're absolutely right though - all mouth and no trousers as my mum would say!!

    - sorry about your pilates - could you do a few of the exercises you remember - knee rolls/spine curls/cat stretches for your back?

Well I could :D but I'm far too lazy :o. I do actually do physio before I get out of bed in the morning, but I need to go to pilates more often.

I've ordered 2 x 500ml ones as I find I get fed up with carrying larger bottles around. I'll see how I get on with them...

Lunch eaten, fridge rearranged, chicken in SC. Lots of washing up done (the stuff that doesn't go in the DW ends up hanging around for ages as there isn't enough to make it worth while washing up.

Last lot of washing is on the line - I guess it will have to come in soon, but hopefully it'll be pretty much dry. Not much housework achieved (yet again ) but I have read one section of the paper and weeded out the bits I don't want.

OMG I got muddled up with the steel bottles and the boots and I THOUGHT YOU WERE BUYING BOOTS BY VOLUME!
    - I did think it odd though ... I thought it was because the boots were not British or something...:rotfl:

Have you a recipe for a vegetarian lasagne - the kitchen used to make it at a school I worked at it was fabulous - definitely had tomatoes and courgettes in...

Lilysue that's very sad about your friend x
valli have you got a link for the amazon Mastercard thing, I'm thinking of trying my luck but will no doubt be turned down as my credit rating is/was awful. ETA it's ok I've found it.

I've cut the front grass :j been doing it for weeks and I finally bit the bullet, that'll be it's last cut till next year now so I made it a good 'un so it's nice and short and the edges have been strimmed.

I've S&S'd the kitchen, unloaded and reloaded the DW, put the recycling cans in the box, folded up some clean washing, visited GD, and lots and lots of other odds and sods.
