Have hoovered upstairs at last - took about ten minutes! So I'm going to hoover downstairs, then wash all the floors, so then I'll have no choice but to sit down and put my feet up on the sofa and read the paper till they dry! (I haven't managed to do this since I sprained my ankle which might be why it isn't getting better)0

Have you a recipe for a vegetarian lasagne - the kitchen used to make it at a school I worked at it was fabulous - definitely had tomatoes and courgettes in...
Seeing as you asked so nicelyI'd make a tomato sauce using onion, garlic, tinned tomatoes. I'd then layer up the tomato sauce, lasagne, sliced courgette and fresh tomato. Top with cheese sauce and bake :T
I might even make some of that myself - I have the last of the HG toms to use, and HG courgette slices in the freezer :j

Last post vanish into thin air.
Doing well:
More stuff collected by freecycler
2 plants moved
apple tree planted
1 veg plot dug over
loads of leaves from the front in the wheelie bin
DS1 got stung by a wasp putting killer down the whole
DS3 kissed a frog
DS2 doing my head in
Last cupboard in the RofD sorted.
Need to get dinner on and then do the last couple of bits on my list to get a full house.

as am thick - bit more specific on making the tom sauce please and would this be 'building block' for the freezer tom sauce which I definitely want to try if it is - and could I have just the sauce on pasta when I am [STRIKE]feeling bone idle[/STRIKE] in a hurry?

Hello you lovely lot!!
I've just done a MOOOSIVE post to thank you all for your support over my work troubles and lost the whole damn thing. Anyway, I'll summarise....
....a Senior Manager has caught wind of how bad things are for us and how we've been treated. It has been passed on to the Area Manager and, though things aren't any better on attitude it looks the the holiday stance is going to change! :j:j:j
The Senior Manager has told us to contact them whenever we need to, no matter when. We feel so much better knowing that someone cares about us and that we have someone to go to if we need to let off steam - don't think that person can even begin to imagine what its meant to us!
I'm sorry that I've not been able to keep up with the thread, you really do chat at the speed of light. I hope you're all ok..
On a Flylady front, we had a party last night and family came over to stay! We were so proud of our little palace, it was great not to feel uncomfortable and be casting my eye around looking at things and hoping guests didn't notice them!!!
No flying today though, feel a little rough....I know, I know, self inflicted!:o
Oh Toots - can I have my last star? Did my last bits yesterday in prep for the party!!!
Hugs to all that need or just plain want one....:A:A:A:A
Thanks again for last week!

Pen Pen, you are far too nice, I would have made Valli use the search facility, that's what it is there for after all:p:p:p:p:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -

Sweat a chopped onion and some crushed garlic in oil (olive or veg) until soft. Add a tin of tomatoes, season and herbs and cook on low (I do mine in the Rayburn for a couple of hours). Done :T
You can add mince with the onions to make bolognaise, and I add loads of other chopped veg to either sauce pumpkin, carrot, courgette, mushroom, etc, etc.
I make huge batches of this, and freeze in family-sized portions for those CBA HM meals:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
