Not had much time to read / post this week and equally not had much time to fly. But...I have got lots of ebaying to do tonight so I'm going to start doing my photos. I've done a few descriptions already but I've got more to do. I've got just over an hour to get some done then me and the girls are going to my mum and dads for tea and DH is already on his way to the football. Then I'm babysitting for SIL's two children.
Only read the last two pages so hugs for Lilysue. Such sad news about your friend.
The quince jelly looks really good Soappie.
Hugs, positive thoughts and prayers for Toots and Lady L.

Soappie that looks really clear, for what ever reason I thought it would have 'bits' in it, and a question, does that gap at the top between the sauce and lid, not make for an ideal situation for mould to grow? Do you not have to fill them to the top?
(you can all see how much I know about jam making:o)

Have you asked?
I will wait for an opportune moment to have a chat...
it could be something as simple as him not feeling at home at his dads, he is such a homebody and gets homesick easily, though he is better away from home if I am there...in fact thinking about it that could very well be it, he is just 'out of sorts' when he gets back.
When his dad and I first split up he would walk in and want to 'touch base' with me - I would have to tell him what I had been doing and then he would tell me what he had been doing. It's just how he is.
As long as the jelly was securely lidded when hot it will have vacuum sealed Kaz and it will be fine.
I have NEVER had one 'go' yet *glow* and I have half filled a jar in one session then topped it up the next day (but in fairness that jar would never have gone into storage, it would be used immediately!
We have been to town DS has a new phone ON CONTRACT so his pocket money will be reduced by that amount - we'll see how it goes. Up until now he has been on PAYG.
Pleased to report credit check finesecond one this week too as I got the Amazon mastercard on Thursday and have access to untold riches;).

Jam has bits in it, jelly doesn't - hence the letting the juices drip out overnight - it's the juice that is then boiled up with sugar to make the jelly. I see our expert on jam, Valli, has answered the other question
As to BG bashing - here's the thread.... http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=2033419I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I decided to shift myself and collected the wood and coal. I've also laid the fire and tidied the living room.
I'm trying to update my spending spreadsheet but for some reason it won't load:mad:. I might try it in IE instead and see if that helps.

Have sorted and flung old PC discs and video tapes and sorted (found in DD's room) some of the missing DVD's which have been reloacted to their correct home.
Have a touch of CBA now but I do still need to sort the washing as only just managed to get hold of DD's after asking too many times to count. She still hasnt stripped her bed so will learn that until she does she can sleep in her own filth.
Seems strange not to be doing a roast today but friends are coming down on Tuesday so I have a huge leg of lamb and will do one then. DS is likely to moan as he'll miss it today but hopefully wont notice as he's got a first date today with a girl he met from another Tae Kwon Do group. Oh and he passed his Black belt grading last week too :T:T:TMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0
