I have just written an IEP for a child in my class - I am (desperately) hoping that,. now all the information/targets/strategies are down on paper they will stop flashing through my brain at all hours of the day and night...
Close examination of DS's ebay and amazon sales shows that, after deductions of costs I have over £36 of his in my account. Could pay for his new phone - at least in part...

Dusty.... re : butternut squash.... I'm making soup with mine today.

Butternut squash, sweet potato and coconut soup.

Onions/potatoes/sweet pots/butternut squash, lightly sauteed in olive oil. Slung in a pan with veg stock and either creamed coconut or coconut milk. Simmer till soft, blitz till smooth. YUM!

Sexy mentioned that she'd added garam masala to hers to give a bit of extra oomph

    Morning all

Did two loads of washing and pegged them out because it was bright and the forecast was good but the heavens opened and I got soaked grabbing it back in. It's draped round inside now. The sun is back out but I'm not sure whether to trust it yet.

Dinner is cooking. It feels like a very long day today.

Hope you get on well in hospital Toots.
Hope you "dry up" soon Pigpen :)

Pen Pen - hugs for the guide slating starting again - please don't run away - they're not worth it...

Dusty - this recipe for butternut squash is delish...

Peel and slice the squash. Gently fry it in olive oil and a couple of cloves of crushed garlic until it's golden then put in a casserole dish. Add a tin of tomatoes to the pan the squash was fried in, heat through, stir in a tablespoon of fresh rosemary leaves, pour over the squash and bake at 160 deg C or gas mark 3 (I guess that's the cooler oven in an aga) for half an hour or so.

And here's one of the pots of my freshly made quince jelly :D

Holly well done on what you did in your HHC!

Sorry for reporting back late, DH had the laptop. In the HHC, i washed up and cleaned up the kitchen, and started the WM, also swapped over wet washing on the heated towel rail, which means the airer is mostly empty now ready for the stuff in the WM!

See you all later, off out to our Bible meeting now, have a good afternoon!

DD4 collected, just waiting for daddy to come get her then we'll sort the bedroom carpet. The old one is up and the naked boards vacuumed it is dumped at the top of the stairs as I could, but am not dragging it down them.

Had food and a cuppa and need to now check bank balance as to whether I can afford Mr T's today... I've not had any money since 1st October so things are a little tight here at the moment.

Still trying to decide whether to get these http://www.mandmdirect.com/ProductDetail.asp?ProductCatalogue=XG80 as I LOVE them but can I justify it when I already have 7 pairs of long boots I can think of. I could always get them and give them to the kids to give to me for christmas :o
Bad kaz... you've just tempted me into looking at the celtic sheepskin site (I won't buy Uggs as they're US owned and there's a whole lot of history behind it...)

I obviously should either have remembered to book pilates online or gone for a walk with my brother, as the class was full . I've picked up my dry-cleaning, been to the supermarket (as usual have probably got lots of stuff I don't need, but have stocked up on other stuff in the hope I don't have to go again this year!) and filled up the car with petrol before the reserve light was on :D

First lot of washing is now in from the line, cleaning cloths are drying. Suppose I should put the final load on. I then might have a few minutes with the paper and get back to my very half-hearted sorting out after lunch.

Soappie - what BG bashing??? Do I need to go and look? PenPen - hope you don't feel the need to vanishn again, but if you do, check in on FB occasionally to let us know that you're OK please

Hi all *jumps in and waves*

It has been approx 12 weeks since my last [STRIKE]confession[/STRIKE], post on this thread! I have been on holiday, busy at work and generally a bit down about a lot of things. The house being a mess hasn't helped!

So, I have today started on the bedroom which has been neglected for far too long, I have got one corner spick and span, with 3 more corners and everything in between to go. I will add my name back on the list tomorrow for the new thread, might not post too much but I will be lurking and cleaning. Hi to everyone x
