If you're using a PC you can just use the 'Print Screen' button and then paste the print... (I thought Valli knew how her PC worked too...:p)
If you're using a Mac, go into apps/utilities & open Grab. Hopefully it will be self-explanatory from there.
Your PC/Mac OS help menu is always handy for this kind of thingPenelope_Penguin wrote: »Press the "Prt Screen" button. This puts what's on your screen onto the clipboard. You can then paste into a word document, and print multiple copies
Valli, you need "Overly Chatty" in your sig :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Jinky,
On your computer keyboard, theres a button (usually top right somewhere above the number pad) which says PRTSC or Print or something. You click that and then open up word OR an image editing software like MS paint and then hold down the control button and hit V - that pastes a picture of everything you've got on your screen into a file which you can then save.
Going one step further, if you hold down the ALT button at the same time as clicking the PRINT <screen or whatever> button, only the window on the screen that has the current focus (i.e. is the active one) is copied to the clipboard.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

valli - I pretty much use Pen-pen's tomato recipe - but with fresh tomatoes, and a large tablespoon or two of tomato puree. To make vegetarian lasagne, I usually use ratatouille. I mostly always have bags of this in the freezer to make use of a glut of courgettes. It always takes ages to defrost though... I had this yesterday at the pub on the meet, served with a very good salad (so often they aren't...) and garlic bread - but made from ciabatta rather than French stick, which was an interesting change. I would however have suggested to the chefs that they remove the bay leaves from the tomato mix before layering up the lasagne...I think it was described as a mediterranean roasted vegetable lasagne. I have a feeling that Sarah Raven does a version with swiss chard which sounds delicious, but I forgot to sow any this year.
I'm still shattered.
I have however, had a little sleep in, having put the alarm an hour later. I delivered DS2 to rugby practice this morning, then paid my allotment rent and collected vegetables - probably the last of the French beans - they were tiny, but it was well worth a late sowing in August, I've had three or four good pickings from that patch, the last tiny courgettes, carrots, leaf beet, and lettuce. After lunch I went into town with DD as she had an interview for a Christmas job in the card shop. Fingers crossed she gets it.
I don't like it being dark late afternoon...
:hello:to the newbies, and also all my flylady friends.

Question: our place is so messy at the mo, it's out of control, and we are reaching the point where we cant tidy up because the places we would tidy things to are covered in mess! I feel that I'm constantly trying to tidy and clean and getting nowhere. Looking around I would say that 75% of the mess is DH's and he has no time or motivation to do anything about it. He actually objected earlier when I made his three piles of clothing lying around into two piles, and when I explained (again) that I can't cope with all this mess, he pulled a "I don't know what hte problem is" face.
So my question is: would it be acceptable to just shove everything into black sacks? I could then go through them and tidy things away properly - or if it's DH's gibble I could hide it in his truck or just move his mess out of the way more easily.
What do you all think? I'm feeling like a very demoralised flylady at the moment, cos my efforts seem to be going to waste"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Rosepink I'd say yes! I've done it myself before, when the kids were little and there was junk everywhere I used to have a mass 'fling in a binbag tidy up' then sort it at my leisure, purely done because I couldn't bear the clutter anymore.
Tea almost ready, done some more xmas wrapping so that's the two youngest kids finished and wrapped :j made OH's sarnies for tomorrow, hope it's ok cause the stuff was useby today lol he'll be alright.0
