DW reorganised & on. WM emptied and TD on (well, it's dark and raining outside!).

Two more loads (plus possibly a cleaning cycle) to do this weekend ... but might wait until I've had a bath... and I suppose I should get back to my brother before I go to bed.

Had to laugh, DD came into the kitchen a bit ago, saw the pillow case/stock pot contraption and said "oh, wow, this is so last century and old fashioned! I expect to see room bells hanging up on the wall and a butler to walk in any moment."

    Here's the pic:

I shall cover it all with a cloth for protection before I go to bed tonight

Nah - now I know I can improvise with what I have, I don't need specially labelled jelly making stuff :D

ETA - unless she's going to offer to pay the salary of a butler, then I might just take her up on it...

    There's a thread...try the greenfingered forum.

I just bung all my waste in a compost bin which I got cheap from the council
I also compost unprinted card (eg loo rioll tubes and sawdust from cages (of non-meat eating pets). and shredding. Pen uses here as chicken bedding THEN composts if - this activates it.

Ah ha a clue you are the chicken woman then pen pen!
