greenbee need some inspiration have bought new sports bra 3 weeks ago, new gym top bottoms and hoodie last week and still havent been :o

Well you've got a whole extra hour tomorrow, so try on your new gym kit and test it :D
I have a quince tree in my garden, which produces 20-30 huge yellow quinces each year....but have never used the fruit except to look ornamental in a bowl. :o This year I'm determined to try quince jelly, and then to use the pulp to make quince cheese (http://www.cottagesmallholder.com/easy-quince-cheese-recipe-membrillo-467).

I haven't a clue what it will taste like, and hope it's worth the effort!
Quince cheese in nice is small doses with cheese.

You can also add slices of quince to apple pie/stewed apple for a bit of a change.

I've had a nice soak in the bath and am going to text my brother to tell him I can't make it (seeing as he's picked the time I said I was busy), put the dry towels away while the kettle boils for my hot water bottle, clean my teeth and go to bed!

I'm hoping that the clocks changing will mean I find it easier to get up early, but I need to remember to change them (and the hot water/heating controller) before going to pilates at 10 o'clock (if I go an hour early, I'll have to spend it in the gym )

    sleep well everyone!

DS1 and I arrived home at 9.40pm. Totally shattered. We all had such a lovely time though! Pity the weather wasn't as good as it was last time, but at least it didn't rain. It was great to see sexymouse, froddington and rach again, and to meet greenbee.

Sexymouse came with us to Shepherd's Bush (DS2 and DD were going to see Basshunter) via a few shops on Oxford Street, and then we went back to Victoria. I managed to miss one train by three minutes, and so had an hour's wait, but at least I then had time to buy a couple of French magazines and a cup of tea!

I'm struggling hard to stay awake, but I'm waiting for a text to let me know they're back on the train, as I have to go and pick them up - 25 minutes drive as there are engineering works. I've already changed the time on my alarm clock and switched off the alarm!

PS - Just got text, they're on the 11.03 - had to run for it, but at least don't have to wait an hour like we did! I'll leave in half an hour.

    saturday night and IN again
still (schadenfreude) talked to exOH earlier..appears he has high blood pressure. Keeping that insurance policy going might well have been a good idea...asked him what it was and it WAS high.

Not seen AnWs for a bit - anybody know anything?

toots hope it goes well for you this week and you get some relief
kazm fingers crossed here for your DH and hugs for you and the children who I am sure need some at the mo, at least the final one is over soon and he can go back to normal x
Great news Dusty, one less thing to worry about!

Right well DS1 and I decided not to go to the caravan, weather was awful with wind and rain which put me off a bit but he wants to wait until Monday and go with his brother. Unsure if he misses him or it's just not routine :rotfl: probably routine....Anyway I pick my baby up tomorrow at 3.30pm :D missing him loads. Did do quite a bit today, DS1 wanted some computer time so got a couple of boxes emptied. We had a wander round the shop when I went for something for tomorrows lunch. In general a much more lazy than normal day, but did some laundry and the TD is on now. Got DS1 a takeaway curry for tea which I promised as his brother gets his treat as camp, he's obsessed with Indian food at the minute but they have been doing a lot on it at school. Was actually quite funny the other day as he noticed for the first time one of our friends is Sikh and wears a turban. We've known him for years, DSs have known him nearly all their lives and he's been quite a big part at times. It's nice in a way that they haven't noticed the 'differences'.

Right, think I will fill the DW then get myself off to bed, DS1 was in bed at 7.30pm which is odd, so he will probably be up soon if not already awake. Night all x x x
One day I might be more organised...........
