  • Thank you :kisses3: That's an Oxford Sandy and Black piglet (on a pig-rearing course DH and I went on); Crackling is a Gloucester Old Spot. Please remember this, as there'll be a test later :p :rotfl::dance::hello:
:eek:OMG I didnt know there were so many different and hard to rememeber names - I will start studying!!!!:rotfl::rotfl:
Kazm i might not be around so i am sending my best wishes to him and you all now - it doesnt bear thinking about if they beat him - its a downright disgrace what they are doing to him. (((hugs)))
madcatgirl just you take it steady and dont live up to your name - everything will come around again this week when you will be more up to it.
pooh oooooooooooh I dont think I knew you had chooks - I wonder how Triker is getting on - who's looking after her chooks? - How exciting to be organising a 21st - is it a party?
hex maybe not stuck to your original list but still a productive day:T
soappie good idea to leave the decorating for now - you need a break from DIY and i am sure DD will be pleased to get herself settled in.
Aunty I am impressed at either your memory or your record keeping:p you were nearly right with your gues then - must have been a good carpet to have lasted so well.
Boddy hope you get a peaceful night tonight (((hugs)))
pigpen it sounds as if you are taking things a bit easier and thats good - give your body a chance.
Dusty sounds like you have generous sons - you need to be kind to yourself - maybe a hot toddy? or some such medicinal drink and a chill out evening! xx

have been busyish but not a lot of it was on my list - typical - you go to do or get something and get sidetracked into something else!!!

anyway I might not be back on until later or maybe tomorrow - need to get a few more things done
    toots xx
    Peace will be mine

DW loaded - I'll set it off later this evening as it smells a bit funny...

Sausage & bean casserole portioned and frozen. Supper eaten.

Having told my brother I was busy tomorrow morning, he's just texted me to say they're going for a walk at 10am and do I want to join them :rolleyes:. I haven't seen them for ages, and I'd like to - but I'd planned on going to pilates for the first time in ages, which I was hoping would make help with my back. I'm also not entirely sure how well I'll do walking due to ongoing problems with my ankle (but then again, he's a GP so if I have any problems he can look at it for me!).

So need to decide what to do. Either way, the afternoon needs to be spent on paperwork and housework as I haven't done much of either recently :o

My physio has emailed me a very helpful and supportive letter to give to HR/OccHealth, which is great.

Now... what to do with the rest of my evening... it's too early to go to bed (well, I could, but it's saturday night). I could find a DVD... or have a bath and read in it... or do some of the stuff on my lists (but that makes for an even sadder saturday night than going to bed early!)

Ooohhh I'm being REALLY OS this evening. The quinces have been boiled up and I'm now rigging up a contraption which involves the stand my le creuset saucepans usually hang on, an old pillowcase from the blanket box (it's clean and has just been treated to a bit of boiling!) and my stock pot.

I am going to put the quince pulp in the pillowcase, hang it over the stock pot and let it drip overnight...

I might even do a photograph...

I'm back! Thanks to rach, greenbee, sexymouse and serena (plus her DS1, DS2 and DD!!) for a lovely meet! Lunch was good and it was great to have a natter.

Green Day were amazing last night and the gig was just what I needed and really improved my mood ...........

until I got back and checked my emails to find that people at work have changed some of the things on the planning framework for next half term - I don't know why I bothered spending ages writing it all ...........

Anyway, had a quick skim through the thread

Dusty - glad drains are sorted

pigpen - have a hug even though you won't want one!

GnB - how have you got tickets? The website says they're not on sale until Friday (and I want one!!)

Toots - hope your treatment goes well; glad you should be able to keep in touch with us

    Hugs for everyone x
