we see you!!:rotfl::rotfl: and very nice it is too - we do miss you even though we maybe dont say so.:o I love your smilies!!!! How is DH getting on at work? have you still got your exchange student?

Hi, thanks for saying. Hard week this week, Dh is struggling as has final assessment on Tues. If he messes up (or they beat him) then we're stuffed pretty much so the kids and I are walking on eggshells.

We only have the exchange students for a max of 2 weeks at a time and arent scheduled any more this year which is prob just as well.

Well I didn't remain fixed for long... Bed didn't get christened.. I decided waiting a day or two is probably best and then very nearly ended up ringing the hospital at 3am when I was pouring blood everywhere.. I needed a bath towel just to get out of bed! The amusing bit was the puddle on DD4's hospital letter.. I'll not be taking that to her appointment lol. Then I had a stupid cat trying to weave in and out of my legs as I rushed to the bathroom..

I spent 15 minutes on the loo literally pouring before I dare try to move. It is a little less this morning but is still flooding just the same as before I went in on Thursday. I'll see how it is tomorrow and XH may have to keep the children until Monday if I have to go back in for a viewing.. I can't believe this.. it was meant to be fixed and now I just feel so very crappy and miserable... not to mention the back pain which has got to aching constantly now.

I feel like that was one huge moan!!!!!!!!! Sorry...

I'm going to check out the situation in the bathroom and maybe give the ward a ring this evening just to see what they say, I've never had this happen before.

Unfortunately I need to go shopping so I can't slob in bed all day.. we have literally no food for us..or the cats.

Piggers - I dont know what was diagnosed as the problem but this sounds horrendous, I'm surprised you find the strength to stand let alone go food shopping.
So was Pen the chicken lady?:D

Toots - no he wasn't as sorry as he might have been - he is now being a DoDo getting the stuff ready with OH to the dump - key lots of shouting! Toots I have great news - my drains are fixed we put some diluted green water based paint down our end and flushed it through and it came out at the manhole:T:T:T:D:D:j:j

      Dusty :T:T at long last

Well flying has been going on here of sorts.

DS has done the bathroom and his room
I started on the main living room but got caught out when I decided to clean behind the TV. I unplugged all the cables to clean them as something had been spilt and then spent an hour trying to put them back in the right place as DH denied knowing where they went
DD started on the kitchen and made a good job of the worktops and everything on them but somehow now it looks like a bombsite and she has got a headache and gone to bed.
DH has done his own thing

Right I suppose I better get back to it or I will be tempted to go out to get away from the atmosphere.

      See you later
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!

      Dusty-Brill news about your drains
Pigpen- I feel that you should let someone else do the shopping -no matter how incompetent-that is something I have had to learn to do. I know how difficult it is to delegate.
Madcat girl I hope you are not attempting to do ALL of your list over the weekend after being ill. Make some time for you too.
penpen, we do the same with our chook bedding. It makes beautiful compost. I love the piccie! And the piggie!

I have not really done any more flying other than s and s. Had loads of family here for brunch and they have all gone out now. Planning DS2s 21st b'day. It is in 2 weeks time.

I am going to get DS3 to set up my wii on the spare tv so I can get some exercise later today as I missed my swim yesterday whilst at the hospital.

      Brilliant news Dusty!
Valli - my DSs are young enough to think weeing in the compost heap is a special treat :p

I have done the S&S, the DW, lots of WM/TD, cleaned the chickens out, sanded the cloak room walls, filled the holes and put a layer of base coat on. Need to put the top coat on later, and hopefully the tiles once the boys are in bed. We swapped to furniture making instead! We have a huge pile of rough sawn oak which will eventually be my kitchen and a few other things. DH is making an oak stereo stand/coffee table so I can take my amp and cd player off the scabby paint and biro stained childs ikea childrens table it has been on since we moved :T. Never buys me flowers but he does make lovely things for me :kisses3:

Top news on the drains Dusty

Well, the rain cleared up just after lunch. DS has been over and two more car loads have disappeared to theirs. One more car trip next weekend and all their stuff (bar a couple of odds and ends) will be shifted.

I'm now going to tidy up in their old room and neatly store the stuff that's left. DD can start moving in - sod the decorations - that can be done as and when!
