PenPen - what time did you get up? You have done so much

Bathroom cleaned, I only did it on Monday so it didn't take long.

Just going to order some paint samples online and then make some soup - actually would make more sense to do that the other way around.

DS1 is finally in the shower as he needs to help DH take some stuff to the dump. Tomorrow when it is dry I'm going to have him doing jobs in the garden to help make amends for the glass.

Well I didn't remain fixed for long... Bed didn't get christened.. I decided waiting a day or two is probably best and then very nearly ended up ringing the hospital at 3am when I was pouring blood everywhere.. I needed a bath towel just to get out of bed! The amusing bit was the puddle on DD4's hospital letter.. I'll not be taking that to her appointment lol. Then I had a stupid cat trying to weave in and out of my legs as I rushed to the bathroom..

I spent 15 minutes on the loo literally pouring before I dare try to move. It is a little less this morning but is still flooding just the same as before I went in on Thursday. I'll see how it is tomorrow and XH may have to keep the children until Monday if I have to go back in for a viewing.. I can't believe this.. it was meant to be fixed and now I just feel so very crappy and miserable... not to mention the back pain which has got to aching constantly now.

I feel like that was one huge moan!!!!!!!!! Sorry...

I'm going to check out the situation in the bathroom and maybe give the ward a ring this evening just to see what they say, I've never had this happen before.

Unfortunately I need to go shopping so I can't slob in bed all day.. we have literally no food for us..or the cats.

  • Sorry I've been MIA for most of this week. Have been suprisingly busy!

I've received a letter from my ex-employers saying that they've received my appeal and will conact me shortly with a date for a meeting. Fingers crossed!

Spent a lovely day with my sister in law and gorgeous nephew on Wednesday and had a lovely chat about her wedding plans. Its still a year away but I'm excited already!

Been able to get my flying done and the ironing basket has still stayed low with it only having 1 duvet cover to iron in it at the mo :D

Have also got an appt on Monday at the jobcentre about claiming JSA. Really don't want to have to do it - pride and all that - but need it to keep my NI up to date and as everyone keeps telling me, I've paid into it for the past 10 years may as well get something out of it. Guess it will help with Xmas coming up and everything. Wish me luck all. Gonna take all my strength to walk through that door on Monday!

because by the time I've done him a list I could have done it myself and half the stuff I need will have been missed off and then I'll have to go back anyway.

I'm not ringing them .. they'll say.. come in so we can check things over keep me there irritating me and then send me home saying it'll be fine in a few days.. and they'll also want swabs for infection and there are no reasons to think there is an infection (no smell, discharge other than, no temp. and no pain) so I don't need to ring yet.. if it hasn't eased off by this evening I'll give them a ring.

Any advice please. Will soon be getting three wonderful bins for rubbish/recycle and kitchen waste. Would like to use kitchen waste as compost. could someone give me any idea of some ideas for compost. Need them to be very MSE.

    There's a thread...try the greenfingered forum.

I just bung all my waste in a compost bin which I got cheap from the council
I also compost unprinted card (eg loo rioll tubes and sawdust from cages (of non-meat eating pets). and shredding. Pen uses here as chicken bedding THEN composts if - this activates it. There is another activator too - :o but DS won't wee in the bins for me!

I have a VERY compliant DS. His bed has been made and everything:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

pigpen you poor thing - and it was looking good there for a moment! maybe you shouldnt have done so much yesterday:confused: you may have to rest a bit longer the next time to give it a chance to properly heal:confused:

my lovely friend has been and we went and collected a prescription I needed.
we were just having a coffee when my lunchtime carer arrived - it was an early lunch but she had some paperwork to do with me so we got that done - meanwhile C chopped up all the veg my DB had given me so that has saved me a huge job.
