Current Accounts
3 x Lloyds Vantage Accounts (1 used as my main account) I want to save up to 15K in these over the next year or two
1 x First Direct - Used for the Regular Saver 8%
1 x HSBC - Again used for the Regular Saver 6%
1 x NatWest as a back up account and use of the Emergency Cash Service
1 x Nationwide Flex Account - 3rd back up
Recently closed Barclays, Citibank and Halifax current accounts.0 -
Depends on what you mean by "bank accounts". I have what is probably a standard set up of current account for income, savings account for irregular money needs such as xmas and birthdays and ISA for money I don't really need to draw from.0

2x first direct - offset mortgage
1x nationwide - Debit card for foreign usage
1x Natwest - waiting to be closed (opened for cashback)
1x- Bank of Scotland ...first a/c sentimental :-)
1x Halifax easycash - Visa Electron card (charge free for some airline booking)

I hate to break up this excellent dialogue but I have a question:
Is it still worth keeping my Halifax Easycash current account for the Visa electron? I opened it purely for airline fee avoidance but now it seems to be of no use. I don't use the account for anything else. Is there any fee I can avoid with this card?
