Too many! I need a degree just to keep track of all the passwords I need to sign into them.

    3 x Halifax Rewards
    1 x Nationwide Flex
1 x HSBC Advance - just using this to qualify for 8% Regular Saver
    2 x Lloyds TSB
1 x Abbey - in the process of transferring this to Nationwide for £50 bonus

Only have the two one halifax reward account and a normal current account for DD's / standing orders and use the reward account for spending money. Looking at people with more than one halifax reward accounts I think I'll apply for another now ;)

You need to, they are being restricted to one sole and one joint per customer from 1st November, from memory.

We have 3. I don't like one financial institution to know our full financial affairs so I run multiple accounts! Same with credit cards and I don't use loyalty cards other than very sporadically.

I'd love to know how their software profiles us!

Same, I have an electron account for flights and other things that charge (but forgot to put enough cash in it last time for Easyjet so had to pay another way and absorb small charge!), a Nationwide account for abroad and various other current accounts for rewards. I do use the Nationwide account as well as spending money- if it is gone that is enough this month folks.

I have 4 accounts - my A&L one where my wages go (despite the fact I hate them with a passion, I do write a fair few cheques. And thanks to their horrendous boo-boos I cant get account with cheque book elsewhere so Im stuck with them!)
Halifax EasyCash - this is operated as an internet account. I use it to put money in that Im putting aside for particular things so I just do faster payments in and out and use the Electron card.
Co-Op Cashminder - Not really sure why I have this - I dont like it. Internet banking is pants and the so-called faster payments never are very fast  I think its down to the fact they are doing Visa Debit cards now and I may well get round to transferring wages/ DD's etc out of A&L sometime in the future....
Abbey Basic Account - this is years old and opened during, unfortunately, a period where I was very unwell and have no memory of. It came as somewhat of a shock to discover I had this - at first branch were dismissive and didnt want ot help me with it but when I told them reason why I had no recollection of the account they couldnt do enough to help. Thats Shabbey for you....

  • X1 Lloyds TSB Premier Account
X1 Nationwide Flex Account, which salary goes into
    X1 Citi Bank Plus Account

Both Lloyds and Nationwide have Credit Cards, No Credit Card with Citi, but all three accounts have O/D Facilities.

Could not cope with anymore than three!
