First Direct > Rent, bills & other fixed outgoings
HSBC (along with my HSBC CC) > transfer £500 every month for food/booze/fun (all the same thing to me :))
A&L %6 > Use this to stockpile ££ so I can send it over to NZ at a better rate and sometimes the 0% overdraft to cover a credit card bill so I don't pay interest (when I've gone over budget).

    7 current accounts in total.

1 x HSBC account (as they were my first bank when I moved to the UK and don't want to close it, that way I can say I've been with one bank for ages)

1 x Halifax (just for the £5 per month)

2 x Abbey (one because I wanted a Visa Electron card just for booking cheap flights - yeah I know Ryanair are stopping free payment by Electron but there are other budget airlines - BOO RYANAIR! When Abbey gave me a Visa Debit card instead of Electron by mistake, I opened up another account for the Electron but kept the Debit open for the 5% interest).

    1 x A&L (for the 6% interest)

1 x Lloyds Vantage (4% interest on balances up to £7,000 - that's approx £18 per month interest)

1 x ASB Bank account in New Zealand (my home country!)

As the introductory interest deals finish I close the accounts. Also, I like to have at least two current accounts, because that way if one debit card is stolen, or retained by an ATM, I have a backup.

Plus I have about 5 or 6 savings accounts, but most of them were "best interest rate at the time" accounts that now have a pants interest rate and that I haven't got around to closing.

I thought I was obsessive but seeing td_007's list of accounts above, I don't feel so bad!
You're spelling is effecting me so much. Im trying not to be phased by it but your all making me loose my mind on mass!! My head is loosing it's hair.
