Well I'm having sirloin steak with an egg on top. :D

Feeling slightly less ogre like this morning thankfully, looks like the worst has passed now.

Last night wasn't great, I was pretty angry at OH because his way of dealing with me pulling him up about something is to just get lounder and talk over you. I hate when people do that, it's just ignorant so I told him he was being very rude and there was no need for it.....then I walked out.

It was my intention to go to Tesco to do some shopping but whilst I was driving there (it's 25 miles away) I started thinking about all the ways I support people and all the ways they don't support me. :D So I developed an attitude and went to the cinema instead. By myself. Like Billy No Mates. :rotfl: I've never done that before. It was a bit embarrassing as there were only 7 females in the place....2 to my left, 2 to my right, 2 behind me....and me in the middle. Conspicuous or what?! Eventually I thought 'f' it and decided I was proud of myself for being a modern, confident woman who was able to go to the pics by herself. Or at least that's what I kept telling myself. :rotfl:

Woke up this morning feeling decidedly less hormonal but I'm bloated and yeucky so will aim for a monday 'proper' icing restart I think.

Have a good weekend everyone.
Herman - MP for all! :)
  • Afternoon peeps :hello:

Day 1 of re-starting low-carb :) Please, please let me do it this time!! :o My starting weight this morning is 14.06 _pale_

alona, I think I will always find a way of bending rules on any diet, it doesn't matter how strict they are, if my head isn't willing to be good then I have no chance!! :rotfl:

sister, I've been meaning to try the cauli pizza for months, let us know how you get on with it if you decide to do it. I know you have to really wring the grated cauli well to get rid of the water or it goes soggy.

Sunny, I've got into the habit of having an ice-cold lager on hot days, tis very refreshing, gotta knock that on the head now though!!

mazzers, well done on the 2lbs off!! :j

alias, glad you're back in the land of the living!!

Will start posting my menu every day again, alas no sirloin steak for me!! :rotfl:

    B - 2 egg cheese/mushroom/pepper/ham omelette
    L - 2 low-carb crispbreads with butter & cheese/protein shake
D - chilli (sans kidney beans & chickpeas) with courgette ribbons & salad
Snacks - oooooooohhh, so much choice, I dunno!! :D
Might have some red wine if I can be bothered to go to the co-op.

Think that's all for now, apologies for the essay!!
    Hope everyone doing ok

I find keeping 85% chocolate in the cupboard helps the chocolate craving - you only need 1 square as it is quite strong and bitter.

foxy, just wondered if you've seen mazzers' recipe for HM butter chicken?? Think it's on the recipe page (page one of the low-carb support thread). It's a YouTube tutorial & it looks gorgeous & dead easy to make.

Right, I'm off to watch Dr. Who as well, I have my wine & nuts for tonight so that's me sorted, see you tomorrow peeps :D

alias, I must be bonkers then as I go to the cinema on my own and eat out on my own. My next planned trip is to see Karate Kid on 27th, got a free ticket, all I need is popcorn lol!

I do my own lcing because of my intolerances (gluten and lactose) so I sub a lot of it for fruit and veg and just don't eat a lot of carbs. Have started to have smoothies for brekky as they don't weigh on my tum so much when I'm jogging, and have a piece of fruit after and snack on nuts in the evening.

I do it all because I'm scared.

Wow sis, that pizza looks bloody fab

Will make one next time they have a take away one.
Did you use fresh cauli or frozen, and did you squeeze it in a tea towel, any tips welcome.

Been good today, i'm ok if i avoid going out with friends, i'll just have to isolate myself for 3 years ;)

Sweet, when you get back into it, doesnt it make you feel mad that you didnt keep it up, think how slim we'd be!!!!
