Praps thats why the food Dr cost more, cos they've somehow removed some of the saturated fat.. or, it's just averages and not very accurate.
  • Morning :hello:

mazzers, glad you made that pic bigger, I couldn't see it properly last night & thought I must have had too much wine!! :o:rotfl:

Do we have any veggies on here?? My DD2 has been veggie for a couple of months now & this morning she asked if I could make her coronation 'chicken'. I usually buy the quorn pieces that need frying up & I'm wondering if I can use them if I leave them to go cold after cooking  Might have to do a bit of investigating.

Oh well, I'm sooooooo glad it's Friday. DD2 is doing her Race for Life tomorrow so fingers crossed for her - I never did do the training with her :o I'm full of good intentions but ................

Anyway, hope everyone is doing ok

I've been on it eight weeks today and I've lost 1 stone 9lb. I'm pretty slow compared to some folks though. I don't really enjoy the treatments, though the 'hoovering' is becoming less painful as I get thinner. The ultrasound is getting worse. They reckon I'll be at goal in four more weeks.

I keep looking at this and I am seriously debating it, although it'll take me a couple of months to save, I also like the fact that they check your metabolism and tell you how many calories you can consume. Is there a minimum amount you have to want to lose?

The treatments sound a bit daunting!

Save more than you think you'll need - they keep coming up with irritating little extras that I swear weren't in the original package. They only tell you how many calories you can consume at the end of course, because it would be different than the beginning. They will choose your target weight with you - how much do you want to lose, and how old are you?

OK. As a rough estimate, that would take about 6 weeks on phase one, a couple on phase 2, and then five weeks of 'phasing off'. The five weeks at the end are cheap because you are not having the treatments any more and are adding in more and more normal food. All this depends on several things though, like whether your fat is mostly internal or subcutaneous (subcutaneous is harder to shift) and what your fat percentage is. It might be quicker given your age, and depending on what your resting metabolic rate is. Do you mind me asking what your BMI would be if you lost the two stone?

Having a quick guesstimate on a BMI chart 21.7, lol :-)

So you'd be at the lower end of normal. They might suggest a slightly higher target, more int he mid-range of normal. All depends on you and them, you can discuss.

I was thinking that but its £80 just for the consultation and they might say no! :-(
