This is such a great idea for a thread. Something for everyone who's trying (& struggling) to lose weight & such a supportive & non judgemental lot you are. Is that enough flattery so I can join in? :D

After being really good since Christmas, we went away on hols last week & bread, rice, chips & copious amounts of alcohol were taken. I low carb so not good. Having been 2 lbs away from goal I put 3lbs back on. :mad:We did a lot of walking with our dog, between 50 & 60 miles over the week & I'm sure that's what saved me from it being much worse.

I'm back to it seriously this week, 35 minutes on the WiiFit every morning (I have to get up at 5 to fit this in before work ) then a 45 minute dog walk after work. I've had eggy breakfasts, fish & salad for lunch & meat or fish & veg for dinner. So far so good although someone at work was handing out Cadbury's mini eggs yesterday, they're one of my absolute favourite things but I managed to say no.

Hopefully I'll be back to where I was by the time I weigh in on Monday.

Well done DObie. Aren't work things the worst? We have stuff in nearly every day as I work on a national magazine and we are always getting food trreats in from firms trying to butter us up. My worst things (to say no to) are the macarons from Laduree. Beautiful little biscuits in pale gem colours. Look! http://www.laduree.fr/public_en/produits/macarons_accueil.htm

Sorry. Probably shouldn't post that on a diet thread. I'm not looking forward to my clinic visit to night as I've only lost a pound, and that was this mornnig. The rest of the week I've stuck solidly at the same weight. Very dull. I know it will work in the end, I just want it to work quicker...

Well done Eric on the weight loss. How much did you lose?

    Morning campers :D

positive day number two - i can get used to this.

Just eating brekkie which is sausagemeat patties and scramblies. I have enough for another two days :j Doggies are already walked and i`ve been and collected a shiny new hosepipe as it was on offer and i was desperate to grab one. Used my old one for the first time this year last night and the performance was worthy of you`ve been framed :o

I bought the H&B shake mix yesterday but i`ve not tried it yet, maybe later as i have a dentist appointment for a filling later _pale_ not looking forward to it at all. New dentist too so i`ve no idea what he`s like but surely it can`t be worse than the last one - fingers crossed.

Hope fully i can manage some chicken later as i plan on doing a kind of chicken/chorizo combo for when DH gets home.

Elfen - ((((HUGS)))) hope that things are better for you now!

I`m offski down the garden to take my mind off the gob doctor :D

Thanks Sarah. Those biccies look amazing. We have a woman whose hobby is baking so she brings in the most fabulous cakes almost every week. Thankfully I missed the latest birthday cake last Friday.

A pound doesn't seem like a lot but every downward move is a positive thing. You should pat yourself on the back for achieving that.

Sunnyday Chicken & chorizo :drool: one of my favourite combinations. Good luck at the dentist.

Mazzers Thanks. It's tough but I know I'd never do it if it wasn't first thing & I have to leave for work at 7. I'm hoping that when I get to goal it'll be enough to help me maintain my weight as long as I'm reasonably sensible with what I eat.

Amazing! Can't believe you're getting the same losses as me and yet I'm paying a shedload of money for it. How much have you lost overall now?

    Afternoon :D

back fresh from the dentist with one very numb mouth, the small filling turned into a large one  i`m not impressed really but will reserve full judgement until the numbness wears off and i`ve done a fair few days worth of chewing, the last one ended up like this and the pain was terrible as it was pressing on the nerve. Why can`t they just drill a small hole? If the Xray says its a small one and they drill a big one whats the point in the xrays?

Never mind ignore me moaning - its just a sore point as it cost me a tooth last time.

I`ve just made the first shake and got it all down without any accidents :D actually it tastes nice and not at all like i was expecting, if it fills me up for a while i shall carry on with this. It would be sooo convenient for those times when i`m in a rush and it should stop me grabbing things that i shouldn`t.

I could take the blender to work and shove it in my locker as it hardly ever gets used at home :j If i`m starving later then i`ll not bother but i`m really surprised by the taste. I made it with water too so i`m impressed.

Dobie - We have people at work who bake too and its torture :D

I`m off potter in the garden for a while - looks like rain but hope not.
