sunny have a fab hol you work too hard - im currently stressing over my holiday after reading last 6 reviews on TA saying its crap !! although dont know why im worrying - havent managed to get any travel insurance for hub yet and if we cant get it we cant go - 3k down the swanney !!

Daisy, altho i havent had a stroke, post heart attack it was so expensive for holiday ins, but i was not going to pay more for ins than the holiday so i did some research and found out you can get cover in europe (where you off to??) with EHIC plus, it tops up your european health card cover as long as you go to an nhs hospital and not a posh resort one its free :)
I googled where the local hospital was, wrote some phrases down for my friends incase we needed a taxi or ambulance to get there, and it worked out soo cheap, (cheaper than my friends) and apparently, if theres complications you get sent to the local goverment hospital anyway, and like here, they use the same docs.
But if you go to the private hospital first and transferred they wont pay, you have to go straight. and you'll need your card at all times as thay need to see it.

That was spain btw, check out other countries.

Well it's a bit dead on here innit.

Think i went a bit over my syns yesterday.. had waaay too much to drink
Me and sons gf had three bottles of wine and a bottle of champagne to go wih our fillet steak, which incidentally will be a thing of the past as they've taken the extra hours off me in work, which means i'm back to 18.5 :(

Absolutely bloody ridiculous as they're now employing from an agency at triple the pay oz overtime is banned and the figures will now go in a different column, overtime column must be zero!!

Hopefully i will get them back when things get sorted.

Makes you wonder about the savvy (or lack of it) of the people involved in these decisions Maz.

OH's work can also be subject to similar issues, only they'll bring in someone from over 150 miles away (paying them travel expenses, food allowance and accomodation costs) to cover 1 or 2 shifts when if they'd just spent some time sorting out the rotas, the work could easily have been covered by the blokes here. Crazy.

Fed up this morning. Kinda had enough of the house again and getting fed up of the joiner now. Not that he's done anything wrong, I just feel as if it's going on for too long now. He's a lovely bloke but he's slow at what he does. I didn't mind at first as I knew he'd be doing things properly but it's dragging now. Can't get a normal routine going at all and am getting fed up of trying to stay out of the way.

Lovely day here today, kind of day that makes you want to go on holiday. :(

Had a banana for brekkie around 7am.

Had a lovely wander around the woods with puppychops. Saw some deer whizz past. I started calling chops back, then realised that he wouldn't catch them anyway, so carried on and he soon came back.

Just scoffed an egg mixed with a tbsp. of oatmeal and fried in e.v. rapeseed oil with some mushrooms. 'twas a little dry so I drizzled a little sweet chilli sauce on it. Yum.

Don't have much of a plan, other than gonna try and be good... Not too strict to start with...
    • Avoid processed food as much as possible.
    • Few carbs./carbs. to come from sources such as fruit and veg. and not bread/pasta/rice...
    • Plenty of water (just a litre to start, though more if I can/want)
    • A 'meal' about 5-6 times a day (counting banana for breakfast as a 'meal', hence the apostrophes).
    • If/when struggling, eat protein/fruit/veg., not rubbish!
    • Don't worry too much about 'good' fat, but avoid the 'nasty' fat.
That's about it for now.. don't want to aim too high and end up in the mud!

Have a good day folks :)
