I've ate and drunk loads tonight, I am a barrage balloon. I am so full I am uncomfortable yet I'm still going. That's not normal behaviour. I require therapy. :( And pricked with a pin ... I need to deflate. I'm drinking cider and it's not even very nice yet I'n still drinking it. I'd be a good project for a trainee psychologist I thgink. :D

theres nothing wrong with you, most of us have been there many many times, so your not alone or weak :j

im still convinced this is all part of the addictive cycle of processed foods etc, and that my patterned system stops this physical addiction and self destructive behaviour

Thats carbs for you, cant stop.
I'm the same, but dont think about food when i'm not having them.. stable blood sugar see..boyo :)

defiantly a big part of the problem, although i dont think you need to exclude all carbs just cut back alot and avoid all processed carbs and hi GI carbs

fruit, veg, spuds, white basmati rice are all good as long as there eaten in moderation and max about 33% of your intake, gives flat stable insulin levels, no cravings and you go into ketosis when you exercise :T:T:T

you also do not need to send your self onto a quest of daftness to find alternatives to carbs, im sorry but :rotfl:@ cauliflower pizza :rotfl:

just eat healthy whole foods, like we would of done as our bodies evolved.

Eric, the cauliflower pizza is delish, in fact if it was easier to make I would prefer it over normal pizza.
The thing is if we ate normal pizza I would be craving more food after it, I know I would but the cauli pizza filled me right up and I had nothing else to eat after it.

Alias hope you are feeling better today, you really do sound stressed.

Mazzers my dad had high blood pressure last year, it come out of his nose and wouldn't stop bleeding but a course of antibiotics have sorted that out for him, he just has high cholsestorol now :(

Tell me what to do then. I'm serious. Tell me what you did to break the cycle. Exactly what did you eat, exactly what exercise did you do? I'll try and copy your way to see if it helps me too. Right now I can't see a way out of this.

Hey, the cauli pizza was actually quite nice, a f@rt to make, but quite nice!! :p:rotfl:

Morning peeps :hello:

Hope all is calm with the world this morning :)

I'm feeling like a zombie again & it's soooooo hot & sticky here already. I don't do heat :( It's not because of my weight, I've always been intolerant of it, why I thought it was a good idea to plan 2 weeks in France in the middle of summer I do not know, I'm glad we didn't book it, even without hubby's dodgy appendix!! :o Wonder what the North Pole is like at this time of year??

Anyway, food for today:
Pre-B - raspberry protein shake
B - 2 egg cheese & mushroom omelette
L - 2 lc crispbreads with butter & cheese, soup, roast peppered pork loin
D - butter chicken & grated cauli lushness

Hubby has said he'll try the butter chicken tonight, he's been off spicy food since he's been ill, so hope he likes it & I don't make him sick!!

I'm glad it's Friday - it means I can (officially) have wine tonight!! :j I'll also have some nuts, probably the KP S&V as I still have half a bag to finish off.

Hope everyone has a nice day today

Morning all. Not got a happy head on today either I'm afraid, probably partly a result of coming down after my serious carb fest last night and partly slight hangover.

Weather is dull and threatening rain, don't know if I'll get my shed dismantled and moved today or not but getting up to all the stuff stored all over the hall etc is depressing so I need it sorted asap.

Had a nice dream last night....dreamt I was young free and single and was going out with some dark haired bloke (didn't resemble anyone but my mind clearly knows my type as he fitted in there nicely :D). I was thin and had on a dress (unheard of) and we were on a beach. I got laid. :rotfl:

The dress was probably because of a thread on here I've been reading that had links of dress pics in and the rest is self explanatory. :D

Not even going to pretend to lc today, head just isn't in the right place.

Hope you all have a good one. :)

You naughty girl!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I wonder if it was the same thread I was looking at the other day, 50's style dresses?? Spotty, full skirts?? I loved all of them & did consider whether I could get one for this family party I have coming up. Probably won't though. Probably won't even end up going to said party :o

alias, cut yourself some slack, give yourself a break etc etc. You're trying to do too much on your own & it's obviously making you stressed & unhappy. Can you treat yourself to a pampering session, something like a facial?? What about a girly night with your daughter, facepacks, DVD etc, just so you're doing something other than working in the house/garden?? You need to look after yourself :kisses3:
