Oh dear Alias - I don,t know what to say so have a :grouphug: and a:kisses3:
Can you remove yourself from the situation and go for a walk for half an hour?:(
Haha oopps that 3some above actually said it was a group hug when I picked it!!
Don't want alias thinking I am being kinky or anything:rotfl:0 -
Afternoon everyone,
i`ve been lazy and watched telly on the pc and had a nap earlier. Feel human now
I`ve got to plant some spuds and cut the grass today so i`ll be doing that soon as it might rain.
Just been into the kitchen and made an enormous bowl of mixed salad for DH so that for the next three days he can have a handful with whatever else and i don`t have to cook for him, i made tuna and onion mayo for his sarnies too and whilst the food processor was out i grated a lump of cheese cos he`s eating that like its going out of fashion atm and i need to make it stretch further.
Bitsy - my carrots are in tubs too, i did try them in the ground but they wern`t very good, in the tubs they are perfect
Alias - Ask him to help, if he dosen`t don`t feed himor anything else for that matter, i do that with DH when he`s a pain, when he`s starving and got no clean clothes to wear he`s only got himself to blame
Tell the loss adjuster that the only perfect room in the house is ruined! When i have tradesmen around i`m always worried that because the rest of the place is unfinished and a right mess they won`t do a good job.
Mazzers - Are you still wired up or has it all gone now?
Sweet - I`ll post all of it at the end of the week as wellkeeps me going IYKWIM
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Don't worry about that smilie foxy, it's the most attention I've had in a while anyway.
Ok. I'm calm. Two packets of tomato crisps, 2 choc 'n' nut biscuit bar things and several glasses of coke have all helped. I'm wasting my time. I will be a fat git for as long as I live in this house with these people. It's just the way it is. I'd be better spending my money on hypnosis....a few hundred quid spent on pretending I live with normal people should do it.
Anyway, I've hauled everything into the house, it's distributed around the hall, kitchen and the room we used to call the dining room before it got used as a dumping ground. Hopefully tomorrow the rain will stay off long enough for me to dismantle the thing. (Or maybe if i just stay angry I could just shove it over to where it's going :rotfl:)
Son and I had talked about this last night. It was just OH who wasn't in the picture. It was agreed that son was going to take the dog out whilst I popped out to grab a bit of shopping, then we'd both be back around 10 ish and we'd start on the shed. He was happy enough to agree to it all last night but today he decided he just couldn't be bothered. He has got learning difficulties but this was all within his abilities and he was the one who said he'd help. He plays on his difficulties sometimes, when he can't be bothered. It was why he got kicked out of his last training centre.
He'd gone to someone's house this morning and when he came back I asked him where he'd been and that he was supposed to be helping me. That was when he toddled off to the couch. He even had the cheek to mutter under his breath. 27 years I've spent looking after that little swine, I've had no life because of him and right now, I hate him. Think bad of me if you want, I dont care. 27 years of him being a millstone has taken it's toll.
I'm now going to go and make mince and tatties for tea then I'm getting p*ssed because I've had enough and I would just quite like to sit in my own wee world tonight and pretend I'm someone else and I live somewhere else.
Sorry for ranting (again), I think I would explode here if I didn't have you lot to get it all out to, iyswim.

Alias, do you get any kind of help for being a carer? Is there any kind of carers support near you? Sometimes they have centres, or will give you a day off or something to stop you going mad.0
-
Nope. Just had a conversation with Social Work 2 weeks ago who say there's no funding for anything anymore and son isn't any kind or priority. His Social Worker left to work elsewhere and they wont replace him because of cutbacks. Where we live there's little here that's suitable anyway so when he lost his last training place, there was nothing else for him to go to.
Most of the time I'm fine. It's just this house that emphasises the problems, when I feel snowed under and there's no-one willing to help.
Tomorrow is another day.Herman - MP for all!0 -

I dont think bad of you, i hate my eldest atm, there is so much trouble brewing and abut to explode due to his paranoia.
I'm sure they get bored too, and something positive for him to do would be great, my boy loved going to carpentry, and made xmas prezzies for us all0 -
And your obviously calmer than me coz i would ahe taken tha hammer to things... or the frying pan
I have just finished scrubbing the entire bathroom ( not that its big, i mean the tiles and floor, as well as bath, basin and toilet ) and middley has just come in from helping his mate gardening to undo the lot
His gf has never seen it clean0 -
