Learn to love iced water. :rotfl:
Sorry can't be of more help, I'm not up on what drink is lowest carb/calories etc.
When I drink alcohol, I usually have a bloody minded attitude about it and I don't give a stuff what's in it.Herman - MP for all!0 -
I do eat for the sake of it too but once i start i can`t seem to stop myself, i remember waking up in the middle of the night some years ago starving. I went downstairs and cooked a whole box of 20 fish fingers and took them back upstairs and ate them in bed
I can`t seem to stop at small amounts just to stop the hunger pangs and eat everything
Not touched fish fingers since though

I had to laugh at this (sorry:o) to normal people that would seem excessive but to me that sounds like one of my binge sessions (multipack of mars ice cream or family siz tub of ice cream in one sitting:eek::eek:)
Well done with your healthy brekkie:T0 -
Foxy, ideally no alcohol at all when you're low carbing. I know it's dull but there's a good reason - with low carb your liver is working overtime processing all the extra fat. It really doesn't need a massive dose of alcohol to process too. Same for why we have to drink so much water.
If you really have to, champagne (very dry) is good carb-wise. White spirits have no carbs in so in theory if you drink gin and diet tonic or vodka and diet tonic you're OK. But your body will use the alochol for energy before it burns any more fat, so it will slow you right down. Take it from me - I lived the low carb way for years, trying to include alcohol and I jut had to face the fact that it stopped me from losing, even a few glasses of red a week.0 -
Well. I just ate a large scotch egg - I'm actually giggling at myself for being a wally and choosing this in Mr S rather than anything else! It's all I've eaten for lunch so far so I'm going to combine that with a big pot of melon to bring myself back on track!0

I am not a big drinker anyway, never drink at home, only on nights out which isn't very ofter, it's just the time of year when things are happening - hen do's, birthday's, followed by weddings etc.
Can not drink Vodka at all - makes me violently ill, not sure about Gin, i'll just have to hold me nose and drink it- although got told it makes you cry??:rotfl:

I eat at any opportunityhappy , sad , angry ( I can really stuff it in then ) . I had counselling once and she thought I ate to relax , I have a busy life and lots of stress ( same as everyone) and she said food was an instant comfort / relaxer. I think there was some truth in that. I also use food to sabotage my healthy habits, I can really hate myself and thats when I stuff anything in . trying to break those habits are hard.
SD defo check those cals it doesnt sound like a cat could live on that amount of calories.0 -

Well done with your healthy brekkie:TI can do the multipack thing too, crisps are a favourite so thats why we rarely have them in the house
Right i`ve just been back on the calorie counting site and played around with the figures a bit. I had left the excersise part on the sedentary setting as i didn`t think that ambling along with the dogs and gardening would count but i changed it to the next setting of exercise 1-3 times per week and saw a huge change up to 1300 cals so i think that i shall allow myself 1200 per day and see how i go on for a bit. Tempted to start lcing again but i know that i`ll fail if i do it now so cal counting is my stop gap for a while to see how i get on. After all my dithering its nice to have made a decision.

PS Just eaten a prawn salad (bought one:o) so up to now 536 cals today. Need to find out how much the fruit in the yogurt was tho and add that.Planning on starting the GC again soon0 -

Eh? Never heard that before. It's a drink I've drunk for many years and I'm pretty sure I've never cried on it. It's whisky that makes people morose isn't it?0
