Thanks for that. I have just applied so we'll wait and see what happens.0 -
I just phoned up the number on the GE website, and asked if the cashback credit card was still available, and they advised no it wasn't, it had been withdrawn. However, she advised me that it was still available by the link on the moneysavingexpert.com website as they hadn't taken it off!
I think that's great advertising for MSE - or there are lots of people asking the same questions!

I don't know if it was my web browser, but the last page on the application was a bit wonky, and I couldn't tick the box which I think was an opt out of marketing, as there was a box transposed over the top of it.Indecision is the key to flexibility0 -
I wonder why they have taken it off the market?0

Just received mine this morning.
As discussed in earlier postings, I can confirm that:- Cashback earned prior to this month has been credited against this statement
- GE are still paying 3% cashback on everything

Received statement this morning. Recevied full cashback paid out against the statement, and have been credited with new cashback at 3% for all new purchases!
Only confusing thing is that the cashback that was paid out was listed twice, once as a debit and once as a credit -- but checking the total shows that it has indeed been taken off the total for the month.
Let us hope this lasts!0 -
Received my statement too. 3% cashback on purchases (all fuel).
Noticed the following: ATM access fee is increasing to 2.5% or £2.50.
Interest charged for withdrawing cash at whopping 15.717% to 22.949% pa.
Cash available at ATMs £750.
Thank goodness I have a PIN free chard (chip & signature). Won't be tempted to make a cashwithdrawl and not allowing crooks the privilige of hitting an ATM for up to £750 daily.0
