Applied Sunday evening and just got acceptance email this morning.Congratulations!
Your application for a GE Money Credit Card has been accepted.
My credit rating a couple of months ago was 999 out of 1000, but I've since added a Halifax One Credit card and have just cancelled a Virgin.
I have the following:
Halifax One - £8K Limit (0% 10 months remaining - £6.9K balance)
Capital One - £11K limit (3.9% LOB - £4K balance)
Barclaycard - £8,200 limit (0% just ended - £2K balance just been paid off)
Mint - £4,300 limit (Standard 15.9% - Used for General Spending and clear each month) <-- This is going to be replaced with the GE Money Card.
Cahoot - £2K limit - (6.9% - £0 Balance. Don't realy use this card)
I've just cleared and canceled a Virgin Card last month which will probably still show on my report.
The Barclaycard and Mint card will go in the next few month, in preperation for another card at the end of the year.0 -

I was turned down last year for a Sainsbury/BOS card but have otherwise been given whatever I applied for in the past. No doubt £23,500 on free loan from Capitalone/Virgin has something to do with it.
As far as I'm concerned, thats just fine, as with a second card (for me) that will give us exactly what's required for everyday spending.0 -
I applied last Thursday after business hours and got email about 10 mins / next business day but as yet no more contact - anyone else had such a long wait?

Does anyone know what supermarkets GE will allow 3% cash back on?
Is there a web link?
We buy our food from Dunnes Stores (a NI supermarket) and I wonder will it be counted?
Also will it apply different cash back rates for M&S and M&S simply food stores??
Thanks in advance
