GE '3%' Cashback Card

I don't understand why the card isn't accepted at Tescos or Asda petrol pumps. It's a real pain to remember to carry another card.0

Yes! Someone has started a separate thread on the subject at http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=259574. Maybe a moderator would consider merging them.crankup wrote:Anyone else getting randon declines?
My experience has been that it normally works OK if you ask the cashier to try a second time.
No solution in sight to the Asda and Tesco petrol pump issue. People have said that there's no problem paying with the card in their kiosks but that's not always an option: my nearest Asda doesn't have a kiosk and my local Tesco is pay-at-pump only late at night.0 -
Has anyone had problems getting their pin sent out to them? I've had the card 2 weeks, apparantly twice the pin has been sent, but never arrived, all other post has been arriving.0

£730 is a large amount. Is it for something you have ordered, like for example furniture or an electrical product, and they wait until they know they will definately have it available to deliver before they charge your card?Indecision is the key to flexibility

I applied and got the ok for this card on 01.09.06. Haven't received anything yet so phoned them up and they say they have a backlog and cards will be issued mid October. Anyone else had this?0

I've been waiting 3 weeks for a pin now, and you cant even get stuff done over the phone as their system is currently down0

Ok, Im fuming. How can I get in contact with someone at GE? Emails get the reply 'we cannot help you with account details'
And after over 25mins on hold, I was cutoff.0 -
Call the lost card number? (should be on the back of the card)coolio wrote:Ok, Im fuming. How can I get in contact with someone at GE? Emails get the reply 'we cannot help you with account details'

They only want to know if I've lost my card0

Try calling them later when people are not on lunch breaks.0
