so to sum it up??? (Am getting a bit confused now:rolleyes: )
was thinking of a SMEG then someone said not good
was thinking of a Bosch but mixed reports from very good to very troublesome
am now completely  !!!0 -
Well of course. As I've just said, you cannot go on reliability from reports on here - the sample size is simply not representative. What people here can advise you on is features that you might be interested in.Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.0

I know how you feel VixxAnn-I have had an indesit washing machine for 7 years, really cheap, no repairs needed, still going strong and a 3 yr old bosch dishwasher which is being replaced - so I guess it is just luck of the draw. I am hoping my new miele dwasher lives up to its reputation. We made the decision of going with miele as dishwasher repairpeople seem few and far between and expensive so hoping that miele does the business for us!! Good luck Vixx it is a minefield.0

sorry but just to let you know that you usually get what you pay for and bosch is a very well built machine compared to other brands and only for a few quid more! And I would say that Bosch is still being made to a very high standard even though most things now days have built in life spans to keep people in jobs etc!! Take a look a which mag which shows reliability and bosch comes out top of alot of studies made by a lot of people.gromituk wrote:As usual, many people trading on the past glories of brand names. Just because it was made well decades ago doesn't mean the modern day beast with the same label will bear any resemblance to it.0 -
Had a Bosch classix for 2 years, no probs with cleaning & very quiet. Can have it on & still listen to the radio or tv (never seem to actually *watch* the tv anymore!)
Previous one was an Indesit, also ok, but the baskets layout is better on the Bosch.0 -
I have had bocsh classix for 3 years no probsAnyone who lives within their means suffers from a lack of imagination:beer:

So if you get what you pay for, then you obviously only get a little bit more than with other makes because you only pay a few quid more...leachy wrote:sorry but just to let you know that you usually get what you pay for and bosch is a very well built machine compared to other brands and only for a few quid more!
