Legislate against banks defaulting disputed accounts.

Many accounts fabricated, aided by retailer.

Extortion techniques fail so revenge taken through negligent misstatement (default) annihilating credit rating .

In a rising housing market (happening at some point in 6 years), a family is prevented from buying a home, effectively forever.

Individual battle to Supreme Court spans 3 parliaments.

    Unacceptable.

Don't penalise council departments for underspending their budget.

Too often we hear of unnecessary spending just to use up a department budget. If monies are left at the end of the financial year the department should be applauded, not penalised by losing that amount from the following year's budget.
Fiscal drag, that's my problem. Too many people dragging on my fiscals.

few families can cook or eat well.
pre-made add VAT -more expensive than raw ingredients. Pasta sauce eg., tomatoes and herbs no VAT. Pre made - VAT. Those that can afford convenience fine. the rest learn cooking and budgeting thats done with and passed onto their children.

  • Currently whether you pay for prescriptions or not seems entirely random ie if you have a thyroid problem you don't pay but a heart complaint and you do. Most people don't pay for prescriptions anyway, but if absolutely averybody paid just 50p each time they got their prescriptions whether there was one item on a page or 5 it would cover the cost of medicines entirely. Also the prescription checking service, which check EVERY SINGLE prescription could be disbanded, saving even more money. Even if you are on a pension or benefits you could find 50p for your medicines, and its a much fairer system. It also annoys me that doctors can do themselves private prescriptions for eg antibiotics, which often cost max of a couple of pounds, but if you pay for your own NHS prescription you must pay £7.20
  • As the banks keep paying unjustified and unrealistic bonuses and have now raised salaries to hide these bonuses there needs to be a way to stop these funds being drained to people who dont deserve them. Why not introduce a new personal tax rate of 99 pence in the pound, with immeadiate effect on earnings over say £100k a year and also make this restrospective for the last tax year, so the money comes back to refil the exchequer?
    :D
  • There should not be a separate tourist exchange rate for foreign exchange. All foreign exchange transactions should be at a universal rate whatever their size. There should be a limit on the spread between buy and sell rates.

Please stop this unfair car insurance practice and penalty for innocence, where insurance companies rate 'no-fault claims' the same as 'fault claims' and specifically hike the renewal premiums of innocent, ‘no-fault claim’ victims (even those with a long-term protected No Claims Bonus (NCB)), citing statistics:

'the likelihood being that people involved in 'no-fault claim' accidents go on to be involved in 'fault claim' accidents’

This really incensed us so we went to another company, as others will I’m sure.
  • A significant reduction in the tax on diesel fuel would be to the greatest benefit of the most people. It would help with many manufacturing costs, delivery costs and therefore living costs. It would almost pay for itself as so many overseas hauliers are filling up abroad already.
  • Accountancy fees required to complete SA Tax Returns should be able to be set against taxable income (as in other countries).
In order to comply with ever more complex fiscal regulation the use of an accountant is essential.
Additionally, it saves HMRC resources from having to calculate the tax payment.
  • No incentive to strive for success. Why should you pay a higher proportion of income the more it becomes. If fairer system (flat rate) employed, there will be less tax evasion from those who can afford to employ such evasive measures, and fiscal income may even increase.
