Anyone that got a cheap hamster etc off ebay sunday, the seller doesnt have to complete the sale due to the ebay technical activity, just reading about it...i tried but didnt manage to get anything

Hardy a lot of crap when it is an opinion.

You obviously condone the selling of any goods at overinflated prices then. I would say that is a load of cxxp. The RRP is just that, a recommended price, however teh situation with hamsters etc. being bought one minute on eg. Play.com and turned round, bumped up in price 4-5 fold and then re-listed on Play.com Marketplace is just sad.

You, nor I, know exactly who is involved in this type of activity, but I could make a reasonable stab that the people involved in as commercial like activities as we are seeing, are not cleaning people or the equivalent on low wages. Most people on low wages are in the situation hey are in often becasue they are not the backstabbing greedy individuals who rise to the top. They are normally genuine, honest and decent people.

As an example Hooray for Toys had one person on Saturday evening try to buy 9 funhouses using two accounts even though the site stipulated 1 per person. I'm sure that was Jessie the entrepreneurial school cleaning lady subsidising her £6 hourly rate, yeah right.

I am absolutely gutted. I managed to add all 4 hamsters from Wilkinsons in my basket last night - 3 for my daughters and one for a friend. Then my internet connection slowed down and I couldnt even check out. One by one they all left my basket for other homes.

I have been hunting for weeks and this keeps happening to me, I have yet to successfully make a single purchase.

morning hamster hunters.....am thinking of a trip london bound to see what i can find this morning.
and can i just say Smyths of Rayleigh Weir are as helpful as a hole in the head, I rang up last night as an item i wanted was showing as low stock-may be in store, cant guarantee it.....
and i get a girl who makes stacey soloman off xfactor sound very posh lol, i told her i wanted to check if it was in stock, and she says 'nah it aint', i was like, errrr I havent told you what it is yet I am after!!! she was like 'whaddya wan den?', I told her and she was yet again like 'nah not ere' ps, it was lego not hammys lol
my i love helpful staff who like to check if its in stock!

Ooooooooooooooh and people in the South East-there is hamsters showing in stock on Smyths Rayleigh Weir this morning-but unable to reserve, so its gonna be a first come first served stampede when they open at 9am!
