Re: Ebay problem, doesn't the seller need to notify the buyer by something like 5pm today if they don't wish to go through with the sale?0

Hardy a lot of crap when it is an opinion.
You obviously condone the selling of any goods at overinflated prices then. I would say that is a load of cxxp. The RRP is just that, a recommended price, however teh situation with hamsters etc. being bought one minute on eg. Play.com and turned round, bumped up in price 4-5 fold and then re-listed on Play.com Marketplace is just sad.
You, nor I, know exactly who is involved in this type of activity, but I could make a reasonable stab that the people involved in as commercial like activities as we are seeing, are not cleaning people or the equivalent on low wages. Most people on low wages are in the situation hey are in often becasue they are not the backstabbing greedy individuals who rise to the top. They are normally genuine, honest and decent people.
As an example Hooray for Toys had one person on Saturday evening try to buy 9 funhouses using two accounts even though the site stipulated 1 per person. I'm sure that was Jessie the entrepreneurial school cleaning lady subsidising her £6 hourly rate, yeah right.

I am an ebay seller actually. Every year I buy toys from the top 10 list to sell on ebay 2 weeks before christmas in the hope of profiteering from it.
I do this every year and know i am not single handedly responsible for shortages.
I also go for auctions all starting at 99p, I let the buyers dictate the price.
Throughout the year, I also sell on ebay, usually things from the grabbit boards and hduk and some other private forums which tell you about misprices.
I do this because its the only way I could think of to work from home and be a stay at home mum. Im not rich but earn enough to raise my own children by myself. Regardless of whatever anyone things of sellers my reasoning totally justifies it to me. There is nothing and no one as important as my children and im not having them brought up by strangers.
I really do hope you all find whatever pieces you want, but I also think its all fair game with a bit of luck.0 -
Waiting on the burping decorator then showering and starting my hunt again.
Forgot about another Wilkinsons in Hull so gonna go down and check it out as well as the usual places. Not sure I can be bothered going into actual town though today as the council like to do roadworks just before christmas so the road I take is crazy and I sat in a lot of traffic yesterday for nothing. Might just do all the out of town wilkies/supermarkets etc.:heart2:I have a child with autism.:heart2:0 -
Morning fellow hammie hunter.
I feel today is going to be the lucky online day...... Only because for the first time in a week i have to steap away from the lappy and go on a course, so no online hammie hunting.
On the upside i shall be taking in the large tesco in Stafford for some xmas shopping so will see if my luck is in but doubt it very much as it will be late afternoon before i can get there, unless ni skive off the end of my course by an hour or so.
My god this hammie hunting has got to me big time.
Happy hammie hunting to all, and please can you not talk too much today or it will take me hours to catch up when i get back...LOL0 -
Morning all.
I shall be around today and hoping some of you get better luck today - especially those that have nothing yet and also those hunting for the elusive items.......such as balls and wheels.
Please can we try to keep the board friendly and respect each others opinions. We are all different and all have different views regarding everything - the world would be very boring if we were all identical in every which way.
Most of us are here for the same reason - lets help each other in every way possible.
