Another low/no spend day for me today!

Spending my entire day in my house, weather looks a bit glum and its v.windy!

Have had a shower, tidy up of bedroom, done washing up, cleaned out Peanuts and hoovered. V.productive for me on a sunday morning!

Didnt have a good nights sleep last night. What the hell is wrong with me?! So have a wee headache right now, hopefully that'll shift though!

So a whole day to myself........ what to do? Normally I'd spend money but thats a definite no-no!

  • Well done on broaching the subject! See it wasn't that bad was it? Just think what you can do with this new found confidence!

On the sleep front - are you getting plenty of fresh air? I always sleep better with fresh air. And are you following a sensible pre-sleep routine? Basically you need to slow your mind and relax - reading in a hot bath works sooo well for me (Just need to remember to get out before you fall asleep ;))

I really dont know what it is to be honest! But it is starting to annoy me, I just seem to be in a very light sleep where I'm still quite aware of everything going on around me, and then every 30 mins or so, I wake up fully, have a stretch, then take another 15 mins getting back to sleep.

I've tried going to bed later, tried the warm bath, tried milky drinks, herbal sleep tablets. And then I find it so hard to get out of bed in the morning!

Maybe its a by-product of stress, but Ive felt better lately (aside from the no sleep!) than I did before when the whole breakdown thing occured......

Although it might seem slightly strange that I opt to give myself a pat on the back and a round of applause like I should be "special"...........

I would like to give myself a wee sticker for effort.
This evening I posted a thread on OS, even tho they sometimes scare me, for ideas to use up the assorted jars of goodies I have. I proceeded to make myself my dinner and lunch for tomorrow totally out of my cupboards, with very little effort and only one pan! :) am mucho proud of self

    :T

    Cost for today 0
    Spends for today 0
    Projects started/completed for today 0

    I'm doing well here people.
I'm now off into bed to watch El Dorado............. yesterday it was seven brides for seven brothers, must be an old school MGM thing that seems to relax me :)

And why not! You are special, you had a good day and you are ending it satisfied with your efforts and with a positive start to tomorrow (lunch ready so saving there!).

I think you deserve to be pleased and proud with yourself. I was chuffed to read such a positive uplifting post, thank you :T :T :T

Enjoy the film and your rest hun xx

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Thought it was just me!!!! Am ok food wise, but can't make Xmas gifts from loo rolls & sellotape so don't feel worthy!

And you are special to all of us x23_3_78.gif

Have you tried Nytol? I take 1/2 of the 1 a nights when I'm in a bad pattern - it doesn't stop me waking up but can go back to sleep easily.
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Awwwwwww thanks.......... fell asleep during film............

Lunch saving now carried over till tomorrow, wasnt v.hungry and forgot to bring it home for my dinner today!

    NO SPEND DAY!

even sly-ly copied some recipes out of a book at work to try at home, "Feeding The Nation" lots of old wartime recipes etc. Maybe my job has some v.small benefits.

Also got given two bottles of lavender room spray as they've been over-filled by supplier so bright shopfloor lights cause them to explode.......... so cost to me nothing! Maybe some of that will help. Plus one bottle toward the christmas present box!

Thought it was just me!!!! Am ok food wise, but can't make Xmas gifts from loo rolls & sellotape so don't feel worthy!

I wasnt even sure they'd let me in! I am intimadated by their extreme abilities to save money wherever they look. But was warmed by the response! So happy days on that one.........

Flatmate has also bought bread and milk, so saved myself some dosh there, however do need to buy eggs, potatoes and onions. Will price those up and take exact money to tesco!

Must also take debit card out of purse, only took it so I could pay some dosh into account by atm!

I WILL NOT LET TEMPTATION WIN!!!!
