Very strange realisation today!

My direct debit to my dororthy perkins card hasnt been made. Its no 12 on my direct debit list with the bank.
I've checked my internet banking and the dd is still set up but it just hasnt come out of my acc.

Just as well I made an overpayment in the store to that acc, otherwise i would have been charged!

Surely the dd is paid no matter what, even if u make over payments?

Im very oddly confused!

hello, I know this is a bit mad in itself but I spent 4 days reading your thread and this is really, really mad but I swear EVERYTHING you have written could have been written by me............. work, boyfriend, hometown, living arrangements! It's all very odd, also I noticed that you often seem to buy toiletries and hobby type stuff, which is also how I spend when I am feeling, well I don't really know how I feel at the time, but I just wanted to say hi, and I know at times this year you must have felt awful, but having basically read your diary from beginning to end it is very obvious that you have achieved LOADS during what has obviously been a tough time. I am new here and thanks to you a little newly inspired, hope you are well and everyone else too.

You wouldn't have been charged as it's their cocck-up. Well - wouldn't have been charged after several phone calls and threating a complaint to the FSA. :rolleyes:

You haven't accidently paid if off have you? That could be a reason why the DD hasn't been made.

But I hope it was worth it.

You're right this year has been full of ups and downs, and I'm pleased to say I'm going to be finishing it on a high!
I'm in more control of my money and myself (which is more important) a lot of soul searching and big questions in the latter part of the year have set me up for next year, and I'm well up for becoming DF by this time 2007!

So watch this space everyone! And I'm glad to be here xx

Oh yeah that one!

Got declined, thought I would so that does put my plans back every so slightly......

Also realised that I'm going to have to decide what Im going to do when it comes to moving. Obv my deposit is tied up with current property so will need deposit from elsewhere for new place till old is released, plus any fees, so the debt repayments may not follow the plan from previous, but we shall see.

Flatmate now back tomorrow so big fat chat about what we're doing .....

But thanks for asking. almost forgot about it completely!
Also got my DP statement today and even though its got direct debit will be taken on 6th January, it doesnt show any dd payment for december on the transactions, only my instore payment, so whats the go with that one?!

I havent got the foggiest what happened. The DD is still set up on my bank acc.And my statement from DP says payment of X will be taken on the 6th january by DD?

I can only think because I paid instore they dont take it on dd, cunning plan to make u think ur paying off more!.?

Well Happy Days!

Only tomorrow to get through and then I can relax for Christmas.

Great day in the shop. I managed to sell one of our £250 machines, and the couple eventually spent £345! ARGH! But it wasnt on credit lol paid in cash. So was so happy and my bosses gave me a call to say thanks very much etc.

So happy there.
Christmas presents now all completely taken care of, although bf has asked me to pick up a dvd for his sister, so Im hoping that wont take me too long to do tomorrow!

As for the monetary aspect I've kinda closed off to it. Esp since I wont be spending any money for a few days over xmas, I got all the boyfriends pressies with the refund from the council, bar about £20. So doing ok I think....
