Well Hi-di-Hi people!

Quick update on the bf situation........
Had a long chat with my friend about some stuff an decided to take the bf out and come clean about the one issue that has always had a hold.

I wont go into too much detail, but neway last night I told him all of it, whereas before he had an edited version. Explained that I still held that situation against him, but I couldnt blame him entirely because I didnt give him all the information. He was shocked to say the least, but he's glad I've told him, and I think he now understands much more about why I am the way I am at the moment.

Feeling so much better, not because of telling him that one thing. I was angry at him for that, and then every little thing after that just went on top, and its always been bubbling under the surface and I'vce never said it out loud in order to clear my mind.

But now I have and I think it could proove to be a turning point. He was fantastically if not shockingly understanding about it, an very sympathetic toward the way Ive been feeling and for such a long time........

That probs all sounds very vague etc, but I'm much happier now I've laid that ghost to rest........

Plus I dyed my hair too............... He didnt like it lol but he held his own and didnt take the mick etc. I've redone it now and its looking absolutely fab and great for winter!

So even though Ive spent some dosh, Im feeling ultra "new"!

Hi All
Haven't been around much, work has been super busy. Had my review chat today and all that was said was "More of the same please!".

Translates in my mind to we love you, we love you WE LOVE YOU!
So really happy about that!

My friend has now moved her stuff into my flat and has gone to work (where she used to live) for a few days and then next week she'll be back more fully fledged and we'll start looking for a house properly for the New Year.

Cant wait to really feel like Im having a new start and really making some good steps!

And the BF!

Its actually all quite perfect. I realised, whilst listening to Snow Patrol (So thankyou to them) that if I really do love him, then I have to give it a go from all angles. Screaming and shouting at him only makes him shut down. So tried a different approach.......

Firstly it involved dying my hair............ PLUM!
Then he didnt like it, and I said well b*ll*x because it wasnt for you (in a very nice way) and I think he now understands that its a choice that we're together, on both sides.

Not that hes suddenly in fear of losing me, but I think he realises now that we've both got to work to keep it going, it doesnt just happen..........

Life wouldnt be so much fun if it did!

So thats all good, I've still got money in the bank, all xmas presents bar the boyfriends are done, we're waiting till sales and just taking each other shopping!
Only one bill to pay and that came through today

Well it's great news that so many areas of your life appear to be all coming good at once.

I'm so happy that you're finally happy after all the hard work you've put in.

Oh I'm sure that at some point something will smack me in the face lol, but until then I'm a very happy girl.

When my friend comes back we're going to have a real go at meal planning as well. Its the one thing (well this and matched betting) that I just cant seem to get my mind around. So maybe with two of us we'll get there.

Also been introducing her to the many tips and hints on this site. She;s very intrigued about the snowball calculator too, so should all be good. Especially having someone else who wants to get out of debt as quickly as possible too!

Haven't been around very much after small incident at work, and have been feeling pretty rotten, so been asleep a lot...........

Dreaming of debt freedom!

Feeling better now though, and have two days off work anyway. So will be spending my two days wrapping xmas presents, and working out the meal plan.

That is something I honestly must achieve this week. Having it planned and organised! Not necessarily following it because xms weeks are always a bit here and there, but committing it to paper, budgetting etc.

Have really fallen off the ball with my debt free efforts. Need a gentle push I think....

Had decided to go shopping in the new year for each other, now he's changed his mind and I dont get paid till friday!

Now now, no crying! He's the fool who changed the plan at the last minute so if all he gets is a turkey on offer from Tesco he should be thankful for it!
