Hi All

Back again from the land of the expensive, otherwise known as Cambridge.

Didn't spend too much money which was good, and will be claiming back quite a bit. All in all I think I spent about £30 but I'm not beating myself up over it really.

Went out for dinner last night with the bf. Was going to have a chat about things but I was just too tired! So will be trying again tonight I do believe.

Not much to report otherwise.
Flatmate moved out and left me some extra bill money which I had asked her for, and Peanuts has now left. It feels really odd not hearing her run around in her cage ah well..............

Hows everyone else been?

Not so good. But it could be worse.

I'm still looking but its not got to the desperate stage yet.

Saw a place I quite liked but my friend saw the pics on the internet and wasnt too sure, so will probably get much more into it when she moves in and we can then go together etc.

And no its not in my spending diary. Gave myself the weekend off! It was an ok weekend, I didnt get as many hnts and tips etc as I expected, and plus I dont think I was really needed as management, just as a shop floor job, but its always nice to get a break from the same four walls.

Next big bit of news is that the Chief Exec's of my company are coming to my shop next week :O crikey!! SO must look super fantastic for them.... might get a payrise out of it lol

lol none of my staff are miserable, hence why they are my staff

was feeling pretty chipper today, if not a wee bit tired. The BF and me were meant to have another "chat" last night, but I put it off saying i was too tired etc and he honestly did seem worried, told me he loved me, without prompting, told me he missed me, again no hints!

So we arranged to see each other tonight, had a dvd to watch that we got last night... and would you believe, he now wont take my phone calls!

I've actually ran out of names to call him. It's simply pathetic, and I hope he realises how very close to the edge I am right now!

The more I re-read your post Seax, the more it rings true.

Which way round is it though? Do you not employ miserable staff, or do your staff become unmiserable when you employ them...

Are you sure it's him doing it, and not some technical problem like no signal or flat battery. I know I'm usually the last to defend him...

well he turned up, and I probably lauched into a tirade.

I asked him to ask himself what he wants in a partner, without me influencing the decision in any way, and the kind of person he sees himself being with in a few years time etc.

Told him that I wasn't the person he wanted to spend the rest of his life with, and he's not the type of person I want to spend the rest of my life with, and we're not enjoying whats going on right now, so why are we doing it to ourselves.

I don't want to split up with him because I do love him, and there have been times when I've had no doubt about whether or not he's what i want, but now, i just feel like theres so many grey areas and if we really wanted to change for the benefit of our realtionship, we'd have done it by now.....

Oh who knows. I've told him to call me thursday, if he wants to sort this out, properly and like an adult, and if he's got an actual answer to the question, and if not, then dont call me, and I'll know where I stand then, and we wont have to drag it out with any more conversation.

Might have shot myself in the foot, but there we go......

You laid your cards on the table, told him the truth, and asked him to do the same.

You don't want it the way it is - this is your way of still having a relationship with this guy, but a different (better) relationship. Rather than a different relationship with a different guy with is within your power to do.

How is that shooting yourself in the foot?

well since me and the former flatmate bought her together, we could exactly take half each!

So, as cruel as it sounds, we flipped for her. Most fair way of working out who took care of her from now on...........

But I've got visitation rights

Back from up North'. Had a nice time OD'ed on tea and coffee, so fantastic and got sent home with a big fat bag of goodies,which makes it even better!

I'm so tired though. Spent all last night tossing and turning, mind going 12 to the dozen and still not figuring anything out!

As for the bf, I think I'm seeing him later on tonight, I've actually written my list out! It has 25 qualities/traits which I want.
I even sat on the train and put a little mark by each one that I think he has....... its not looking good...........5/25 hmmmmmmm think for a conversation I think
