OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOh how sadly excited am I!?

Had a lovely Christmas and got lots of lovely little gifts. Wont need to buy myself any shower gel or shampoo for the next year, so if anyone heres me mention I need some toilettries you have my permission to "virtually beat me" into analysing what I think I need and what I think I want etc etc.

    Should save me some cash!
My parents (bless em) also got me a terramundi! So no need to make anymore out of salt dough!!!!
My Grandad (aka my mum doing his shopping) obv ran out of ideas so gave me £50! Even better........... in £2 coins! So I've started my terramundi with them and its currently got £62 in it!!!!

Had a fab time with the BF, really felt like we had some moments together of sheer bliss......... and.................. he even bought me Martins book for xmas!!!

And sold another job lot on ebay for £6! Just need to post and all is done!

So had two no spend days :) Got some lovely presents (money saving ones too :) and ready for 2007 all guns blazing!

How was everyone else's Xmas? :)

    Spent money today!

Starting to get a little bit niggly again about the amount of money Ive been spending lately.
I know I'm now getting more money in wages but I want to concentrate on moving and paying off the debts, so I really do need to pull myself into line.

    Spent £12.50 on a handbag
£20.97 on new underwear and a dress
    £12.43 on food stuffs

    EEEEEKK!

Now once you've fallen off the wagon is it harder to climb back on, then it was to get on in the first place?

Would really appreciate anyones thoughts on that?

    I know you're right!

I just need to get back into being harder on myself and with tighter control!

No, I think you need to be easier on yourself! Don't try to do too much at once, or convince yourself you should be doing too much. £21 on underwear AND a dress is pretty good going! As long as you're not doing it on a massively regular basis, you're not increasing your debt and you're leaving enough to overpay your debts some then you're doing fine. Go girl! Embrace your spreadsheets!

    What an idea!

I did have a play around with them actually, and I know you're right, I'm doing much better than I thought I was, and will hopefully continue to do. I just dont want to earn extra dosh as I am now and increase my spending to match it and still end the month with nothing!

Last month I actually paid off £344 off my debts! Just worked it out on my lovely spreadie!
So really I'm doing better than I was before.

Decided to either keep dress or bag, whichever looks better! Better get to trying it on!
Happy comprimise with myself on that one.

Its just as well I dont really like shopping in sales!

Also today terramundi fund stands at £66, another £4 in £2 coins today :)
