I LOVE JR WARD! The Blackdagger brotherhood series..read that series 2 times also hehe.
I have tried a few times to read it but well..it just doesn't pop out at me. I did get teary eyed a few times reading the Twilight series...I have had a rough time in life especially with relationships and my husband is like Edward in some ways (not a vampire though hehe).
And oh...a belated welcome to you*If you like the advice I give...let me know by clicking the THANKS button*

Good evening,
I managed to do some ironing, feed the boy and heat something up for my tea tonight. I also have a cat mad child, inlaws busy totting up the cost of such a cat, and a name for the cat (which we haven't picked yet).
Strangely, he wants to call the cat Pixel. It's not even a word I thought he knew. It was the name of the cat in the book I took on my honeymoon to Tenerife.....
Tomorrow, I'm taking his uniform to the funeral directors. Well the bits I have - there's still no sign of his luggage.
Take care all of you, and thanks for your kind messages.0 -
Pixel it is then! Fab name! Hugs to you.
I have nothing OS to report other than I've just made Brownies and plan on eating at least 50% of them!
Hi to everyone else. I also want to point you all to a post on here called You've all changed my life, ifyou haven't read it yet, please do. It will bring a smile to your face.

Oh Cranky40 so sorry for your loss, big big hugs xxxx
Nordictat2 - Don't get me started on The Black Dagger Brotherhood AMAZING!!!!!!! the newest book comes out in november and I have it on preorder! I'm just reading the first book of her new series of the Fallen Angels, it's not grabbed me as much as the brotherhood but i'm not so far into yet! When you've got a whole in your book reading schedule have a look at Bitten - it's the first of the Kelly Armstrong series and it's AMAZING too! :-) I think I read the whole series in four weeks (there's about 10 books) I just couldn't stop reading!
Well i've just taken the chicken out of the oven and i've 6 bags of between 6-10 oz so now I just need to decide what to do with it! I also have all the veggies I cooked with it! Any ideas anyone?0 -
Evening all
I haven't had time to read to all of thread yet so hugs to all who need them, and sorry if I've missed anything out!
Busy and challenging day at work. One of my young girls at work has discovered she is pregnant. She is 17 and asked me to help her break it to her mum! It went well though, her mum and boyfriend have said they will support her.
Not much OS today. I took some of the banana cake I made yesterday to my nan. Cake was lovely, I'm so please i managed to make it taste nice even though I had no eggs! I've had quick tidy round as I have friends from far away coming to see my flat tomorrow.
I did Camp America last summer and we having a mini reunion with 6 people tomorrow nightI can't wait! Looking forward to heading out and partying the night away! We are staying in a travelodge though not my flat as taxi home here is £25, and travelodge was £30/night, and is central to train/bus links for people so it's easier.
I have WM on now as there is stuff I needed to wash before I go away on Sunday with work and will have no time to wash and dry them otherwise.
Have good night all

Hehe..it's a good series I have to say. Can you imagine if those "boys" were real? Geeebusss lol. That John has come along way and Z too. I really liked Wrath and heh funny enough his shellen Beth..we share the same name so it sure gave my goosebumps at times while I read it haha.
I figured the next book was going to be about John going after "his woman". One thing that annoys me is the photos on the front of the book hardly ever match the description of the Brothers..either put someone who fots the parts or just leave it at words.
I'll check out Bitten. Thanks for the tiphave you read Tall Dark and Hungry by Lynsay Sands? That's good too.

It's now on my to get list. I need to go and join the library as I shouldn't keep buying books, it's just so nice to buy a new book and feel the crispness of the pages your turning. Oh well must keep thinking Canada in five years, canada in five years, I am zen calm and will not shop :-)0 -
Evening everyone.
Another late post for me, have read through the thread, but am struggling to think straght today. Been a busy day at work finished at 5 then had to call at my mums to pick ds2 up.
Have managed to fill in a Bursury Form to try and get my son some extra help with his reading and writing, but don't know if they will assist as he has not got a diagnosis of dyslexia, but adhd with learning difficulties. They want to know your life story in relation to finances! Spent 20 minutes copying everything.
Cranky - my thoughts are with you and your son. I love the name Pixel for your cat, funny how that was the name of the cat in your book that you read on your honeymoon.
Pen pin - hope you are feeling better soon.
Welcome to all the newbies, I haven't been here long, it really is a lovely place on this forum.
Hugs to anyone who needs or wants one.
