Thanks, she is turning out to be a very affectionate and lovely cat indeed, she's just coming out of her shell and settling in now :) Sorry to hear about your Pepsi, it is a great name indeed!
D'you know, in 900 years of space and time, I've never met anyone who wasn't important

Hi Beks from what I have seen of her so far she is really good with children. I have had several young visitors so far and she has been really gentle with them and takes treats from them really nicely. Seems to be learning very fast. Had a couple of mishaps in the night though. She howled and whined a lot all night. I got up a few times to her but was too late for the little mishaps. Eventually she settled when it was time for me to get up. The breeder I bought her from told me not to have her upstairs with me. Will see what happens tonight. Have found her a lovely soft cuddly toy to snuggle up to tonight.

She is very good with the cats as well, so if you have other pets she seems to be fine with them. Mind you one of my cats is definately in charge and told her so with a quick growl and swipe of the paw.

Will let you know how she progresses.

Sounds like a lovely dog to have, will do some more research before we take the plunge though. We do have one cat so knowing yours is okay is reassuring.
I think her crying and having accidents is perfectly normal in the beginning. When I ws young, we had 2 springers and it took them weeks to settle, they were the same age. Lots of newspaper went on the floor from what I remember!!! I am sure it will just take her time to settle.
Be great for an update to hear how sky is getting on. Thanks. :D
