I must admit that as I'm from a farming family I prefer traditional names. Nell, Bess, Jess, Bute etc. Although we once had a bull called Frank !
.................:)....I'm smiling because I have no idea what's going on ...:)

How about Luna (short for Lunatic)??

My first dog was called Fluff - daft I know but she was 1 of a litter of 7 or 8 and we named all the similar looking pups, so we had fluff 1, 2 & 3, then Bran 1,2 &3 and then the runt was called Tiger (for a bit of encouragement)

Wouldn't think a mongrel would have a kennel name as it's not a pedigree? afaik the kennel name is for kc registered pedigree dogs? What about Marmite? My old neighbour had a black cocker spaniel called that (Tho I still prefer Chaya) lol
I like Seren too (Welsh for Star)

What about 'Doodlebug' which if course would be shortened to Doodle if a quick recall is needed.

I had the misfortune to come into contact today with a person who had three horrible dogs. Two males called Killer and Brute. Then a female dog called Buttercup??! This guy was the typical stereotype you would expect to have dogs called Killer and Brute so the Buttercup sort of threw me.
