Quick update. Still haven't heard anything back and according to the letter they sent me, they have one week left before I'm entitled to take it to the FOS. I know they checked my loan profile a couple of weeks ago as those lovely people at Experian flagged it up for me.All the time you're watching your back, you can never look forward...0

As usual keeping everything crossed.:beer:The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
Have you not heard anything from Tesco.
Did you send your letter recorded delivery if so I would use track and trace to see if they have received it.
Give them 8 weeks to reply then put your claim in to the FOS and don't worry you will get there in the end,
I won my case with Tesco after going to the FOS0 -
Thanks for that showergirl. I received a second letter about 3 weeks ago saying they would let me know the score within four weeks, which will be up by next monday. Yeah, sent it recorded delivery and they responded with the second letter. That's great you won! Well done! :beer:All the time you're watching your back, you can never look forward...0

Evening mate. I received a letter the next day after the phone call saying they will need another four weeks to gather more evidence. In other words, we will string it out as long as possible. So that will bring it up just before xmas and there's no way I'm dropping the matter.
When did you send your letter?

When did you send your letter?
I then took it to the FOS and Tesco caved in and I got all my ppi + 8%.
It took 6 months in total from the date I sent the first letter till I got the cheque.
But don't worry we are here to support you through this and you will win0 -
Thank you showergirl. I will win, I won't have it any other way and I appreciate everyone elses support. :beer:All the time you're watching your back, you can never look forward...0

Gave them a quick call today for an update. Apparently, they are still "data collecting" which amuses me as it was only a phone call and some paperwork to process the loan. Anyhoo, he even admitted today that time was running out and he only had about two weeks left for a final result. I did have a think today, and I may just go down the small claims route rather than wait 6 months for the FOS to sort it out. :cool:All the time you're watching your back, you can never look forward...0
