Tesco Loans

Evening all. I had a Tesco loan a few years ago, and judging by the criteria, they mis sold me my PPI on 7 points. I've sent them the first letter Monday 5th October but still haven't received a reply. They also do not sell any PPI's anymore. This gives me two concerns. One, they will deny any selling of the PPI as they don't do it anymore and two, they will ignore all of my correspondance and hope I will go away. How can one person, me, take on a massive company to claim my money back?

Do not worry, they still have this responsibility.

They have 8 weeks in full to respond, if you hear nothing by the time 8 weeks have passed, then take your complaint to the Financial ombudsman service (FOS) to investigate this for you.

Tesco have to follow the correct complaint procedures, like everyone else, even if they no longer sell ppi, they did then to you.;)

Most of them have now stopped selling this with the loans, but as they did sell this before, then you have a right to reclaim on this.

Quick update-Still no reply. I will give them until the weekend and then send the second letter to them. :rolleyes:

You sure can! Everyone welcomed. Still haven't heard anything back so will be sending them the second letter on monday. I know there's a postal strike going but will still hopefully get there at some point during the week. And on wednesday, someone reversed into my car and whilst I was inspecting the damage, someone went into the back of my car so have that to deal with as well!
